Countdown to the Marathon
5 days to go until the marathon. The weather man is predicting the storm of the season on Sunday. That would make it two years that it rained during the marathon. Tomorrow I plan on buying a poncho a maybe some gloves.
Oh and don't take glucosamine again. The chest pain and shortness of breath isn't worth it!
Linsanity continues...
SANTA BARBARA. Spent the day in SB to celebrate Kary and Brian's bday. The campus has changed so much. Everything looks clean and brand new. I guess a lot changes in 7 years. Started off with Freebirds nachos, Woodstock's pizza, pitcher of shock top, and some cinnabread. Also hit up blenders and checked out the Ucen. We went for a hike up to inspiration point to work off our lunch then hit State St. for dinner at Palace Grill. State St was surprisingly empty for a Sat night. Even Madison's was closed!

Running Update. I ended up spraining my ankle last week while playing basketball at UCLA. A week later and the swelling has finally gone down. I went for my first run and it felt good. A little more than a month left to go so I better start upping my mileage.

New Years Resolution #1- Run the LA Marathon. Training started on 1/1/2012.
JAN 02. Longest day ever. Everyone in the world is off today but my company. I miss not having the week between Christmas and New Years off. Maybe it's time for a change.
HAPPY NEW YEAR! - This marks my first official post of 2012. New Year's Eve was held at the El Rey Theatre in LA last night. The whole evening flew by just as fast as 2011 came and went. I guess it's true, "time flies when you are having fun". Here is hoping to another year full of good memories with family and friends.
