Stunning Hand Painted Abstract Ceramic Porcelain Plates by Amy Hamley

California-based artist Amy Hamley has been trained as both a potter and a painter. Each piece is slip cast in English porcelain from a handmade mold, which is later hand painted. Since each plate is manually composed, they contain fraction of differences, which deliver a completely unique product,d.

Inspired by the natural hues of the sunset Hamley’s porcelain creations, the abstract composition is meant to capture the aura and magic of Bryce Canyon. With the use of contemporary and elegant colors, such as peach, navy and cream, gold fragments of porcelain is added to create a sharp effect. You can find the stunning pieces in her Etsy shop.
