Lilly was busy tending to her garden when out of the corner of her eye she caught the sight of a person passing by.Usually it wouldn’t have bothered her all that much, but she hadn’t been alerted that there’d be any company at the palace today. She stood dusting off her dress a bit and discarded her gloves before starting to tail the man curious as to why he’d be wandering around.
Eloit looked about and despited how tried he was he continue to walk knowing that stoping when he had no idea where he was, was never a good idea. Though from what he could tell it was a world simmaler to his own, but at the same time it wasn’t. He sighed and took out his watch. The hands slowly ticked away, which unsettle him and he closed it with a loud snap before stuffing it back in his pocket. After a moment he turn behind him having thought he had heard a sound. On autopilot his hands took out his watch the only true define he had against any would be attacker. Though the short ‘savage’ king wasn’t much of a threat but he hoped that he looked it if his skin color didn’t scary anyone following him then he hoped his clothes(that showed his power and royal status) though he was also ready to run if need it be, he would just need enough time to use his time magic and stop time so he could get far enough away that he would be safe from any assaian.
The Queen took note of a few things following the man, he was rather small, which was saying something considering her own short stature. He also must hail from spades, if that gaudy blue attire gave away anything, he stuck out like a sore thumb. He also had a similar appearance to Alfred, but Alfred would never be as rude as to just walk into Diamonds unannounced. When the stranger turned around it caught her off guard, she thought she had been rather stealthy. But the slight surprised look was quickly replaced with one of scrutiny as she eye’d him, “Just what do you think you’re doing here.” She spoke accusingly. “You’re trespassing on royal grounds.”
The spade noticed she looked shifted so he could see the person who spoke better and was a bit surprised when the girl remind him of Erika. And he just had to assume that she and her own were that she was the version of the queen in this world. “I did not mean to do so, sadly I have gotten lost trying to find somewhere to rest.” He sighed softly as he held the watch tighter and wonder if its powers would be of any use here or would it only cause him trouble. “I do apologize for being rude.” Eliot put his watch away though and bowed. “I am Eliot the second hundred king of spades. Form world 3490, and I do ask your forgiveness for trust passing and hope that I can just have a moment to rest till I regain my strength.”
How does one get lost and stumble onto royal grounds, she found his story hard to believe but the combination of an apology and bowing appeased the growing irritation. Out of habit more than anything she began to curtsy in return and give her own title, “Lillian Zwingli- Bonneyfoy, Queen of Diamonds,” but she halted as he spoke Lil’s forte may not have been history but she didn’t need to think twice about that absurd statement, she personally knew the king of Spades and Diamonds was only in there 40th or so reign. Spades may have been a little older but not in the 200′s. 3490? She didn’t know what see was expecting the distant future to look like but this man wasn’t it– well if he was telling the truth that is. People say anything to get a taste of royal hospitality. Thoughts jumping back and forth with the pros and cons of the situation she settled on letting him stay, but requesting the guards watch him carefully. “You may be granted one nights rest.”
The male nodded. “Thank you, I do promise, to return the favor with a gift of your choosing, once I am fully rested.” Though Eliot had to hope what ever the queen of diamond’s wished that it would be something he would be able to move though the time stream with out to much of a problem.
She raised her brows at the offer of a gift, pleased yet still suspicious."Very well then I suppose.” Lil nodded before starting off the command to follow being a silent given. Not liking how quiet it was she struck up a new conversation on their way to the entrance. “So, Eliot, was it? You said you are from the future, I must know, has Diamonds survived that long, and if not at least tell me we lasted longer than Clubs or Hearts.”
