After going through so much dilemma, I decided to vent my frustrations here.
Let's talk about who deserves who. Naaah. There isn't much to talk about who deserves or who is better for JoJo. Coz in my opinion, Sun oh and hae young deserve to love JoJo and to be loved by her. But of course it's not possible * unless they invent an app to make duplicate copies of JoJo lololol *
Haeyoungie , just like JoJo said, is a warm and kind person. You get that warm feeling whenever u see his face. He is calm and very much loved by his mom. Honestly, anyone would be lucky to be loved by him. He is gonna adore JoJo that's for sure. But despite everything, I don't understand why he is any better than sun oh.
Sun oh is a cool guy. He is very cheerful tho he has family issues and a bad childhood. He is a model and has everything in his life. Haeyoung is his best friend. He loves him like his brother *Precious Bromance*. Then comes JoJo in his life. He knew that haeyoung follows her or rather has an eye on her. He came out as a selfish guy for some people for having an interest in jojo. But let's not forget how he asked haeyoungie about this many times. ' Do you like her?' Haeyoung literally said that now matter how many times sun oh asked this question, his answer will be No. Nooo. Why ? Why did he hesitate? He played Jung pal *reply 1988* card here. He could have said the truth. But he chose not to. So he lost the chance. I won't only blame sun oh for that.
Remember that lil moment when jojo and sun oh had an eyelock when she was in the bus? Did u feel spark? I totally felt it. Both noticed each other and somewhat attracted to each other. Sun oh didn't hesitate and asked her out. Their alarm rang for each other. *Yikesssss* Whatever happened in their relationship was super cute and pure bliss
I will never agree that he wasn't serious about JoJo or their relationship. Some might have seen him as a silly guy but his love for her was genuine. He never hesitated to hold her hand or love her. Let's not forget how he took hits from il sik. If he wasn't genuine, he wouldn't have done it. He expressed his feelings wholeheartedly. I loved him for that.
Let's talk about how he was there almost every time she needed someone. And when he did something for her but wasn't sure if she will like it, remember how anxious he was. "don't leave me" that's what he said. He never wanted to do anything she didn't like but wanted to do something for her. He never left her alone. He was such a good boyfriend to her.
I am not sure why she broke up with him. But I understand her. She had her reasons to do that. She was scared , she was young. It's JoJo who decided to end their relationship. Sun oh wanted to be with her. Breakup part totally breaks my heart. He got dumbed in the most humiliating way possible. In front of students, he made a fool out of himself. But did he care? No. He was only looking at jojo. He didn't stop . He kept asking her the reason. Without knowing that she blocked her alarm. He didn't care that she didn't ring his alarm instead he wanted her to like him again. *grabs a tissue* Their love story ended there.
Years passed. She still thinks about him or may be still loves him. To be very honest, I thought he had moved on coz obviously he got dumbed . There is no way he will keep loving JoJo. And also he has a friend like girlfriend. But SURPRISEE !!!. He rang her alarm. HE FREAKING LOVES HER. After 4 years, HE STILL LOVES HER.
I would have moved on from their relationship if he had moved on . I would have used that 4 years to justify everything and moved on with JoJo and haeyoung and think that it's the fate. But writer didn't want that. She thought let's torture them. THATS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED. TORTURE.
It was easy for haeyoungie to approach JoJo after 4 years coz he is not the one who got dumbed. Both guys don't know about the shield. But for haeyoung, he is trying to make her fall in love. It's a start for him . But in sun oh's case , he thinks that she doesn't love him. It's over for her and he doesn't have a chance. That's more cruel.
So after analyzing and deducting many things, I decided to root for Sun oh. Coz he deserves a chance. I can't help but feel bad for him coz he doesn't know anything. Writer actually decided to make him a guy who doesn't know anything about Why the hell he got dumbed and how he got dumbed *that freaking shield* and push him away from jojo and make him fall in love with a friend. And in between ie by the time she deactivate that shield, she will fall in love with haeyoung and rings his alarm? NO. I WONT TAKE IT. I DON'T WANT IT. That's so unfair for sun oh and us. Let's have a proper fight. Sun oh deserves a chance to get the girl. The fact that he still loves her makes my heart hurt for him.
So let's have a proper fight. Let both guys have a chance.
