Find excitement in the chaos
@zachallia
- out of my notebook
Afraid.
Afraid to submerge myself in my emotions when I know I’ll just break down and hurt even more...
“Anxiety is always feeling like something is out of place and when you can’t find what it is…you start to think it’s you”
-the suicide effect
That’s my problem: I think too much and I feel too deeply. What a dangerous combination
Definitely not okay…
every person expresses love and affection in a unique way
these questions will reveal your love language
found out mine is acts of service
please take notes @isnt
Gift giving: the thing that sets your heart aflutter is when someone has been thinking about you enough that they get you a gift and it’s just right for you. That thoughtfulness and the intention behind the gift are incredibly meaningful.
But you don’t just like to GET gifts, you also love to give them. It feels very intimate and personal to you to think about what would make someone happy, or how you can get that perfect reaction when they unwrap their gift.
found this extremely powerful and defs needed this
I got quality time
Someone can say “I love you” all they want, but if they’re not there when it’s important, how much does that really matter? For you, someone showing up, being present, and making memories is what builds a relationship.
When you love someone, you just want to be around them. You show that you care by being a shoulder to cry on, someone to celebrate with, and an ear to listen, even on the most boring of days.
Words of Affirmation
You’re not a mind-reader, and you won’t know that someone cares about you unless they come out and say it. You want to hear “I love you” on a regular basis. You want to know what they’re thinking and feeling. You want to know that they appreciate you.
That’s why your love language is words of affirmation, a perfect way to feel the deep connection that you crave. More than anything you love talking late into the night and knowing that you’re with someone who wants to hear what you have to say
Acts of service! I live with chronic pain, and when my Fiance gets up to grab me something so I don’t have to get up it makes me want to marry them RIGHT FREAKING NOW! I freaking LOVE IT! Like, you left your seat, walked to the kitchen, got me my meds and brought them to me so that I don’t have to get up??? You’re the best!!!!!!
I got quality time. Makes sense to me. X3
The first thing I want to do is talk to you; the last thing I want to do is bother you.
