tip for women: do fewer things "out of love" and more things that directly advantage you
The world will ask you who you are, and if you don’t know, the world will tell you.
— Carl Jung
acting clueless to get ahead in life and in your relationship 😌
if you’re about to enter a committed relationship with a man or about to get married
here’s my one advice for you
don’t volunteer to do anything unless you don’t mind doing it for the rest of the relationship/marriage
oh you’re an independent woman and you can fix the cupboard cabinet by yourself ? congrats from now on every time something’s wrong in the house it’s on you to fix it
you’re a “cool girl” who doesn’t need flowers and would rather your man save his money for more important things? okay i hope you don’t mind never receiving any spontaneous gifts for the rest fo your relationship
your man comes home to 3 hot home-made meals everyday?,well good luck cause 6 months from now when you’re tired of cooking and want to order take out more or hire a chef your man’s not going to want that switch up
remember as the woman you set the tone of the relationship, don’t brag about doing things you don’t see yourself doing years down the line !!!
play dumb: cooking, cleaning, helping’ with bills, running errands, fixing leaky faucets,
“sorry idk how to do that” 💋
there’s a wonderful article i read not long ago about a woman who literally pretended not to know how to cook for 5 years of her marriage, and her husband was doing all of the cooking up until the pandemic hit, and he never questioned it!
LIE ! men do this all the time, it’s called weaponized incompetence, they’ll say i don’t know how to separate colors or how to turn on the dishwasher, but will go to their complex 9 to 5 jobs and execute any task perfectly, talk about professional scammers
“oh i can’t clean, the chemicals irritate my eyes, and my nails are expensive”
“i could never touch/clean raw chicken and fish i actually get very nauseous, i had to go to the hospital last time 😔”
if men want clueless and dainty, then give them clueless and dainty
and if you think “oh well surely men aren’t this dumb to believe this”
just know that there was a reddit thread about a girl who was paying rent while her unemployed boyfriend lived with her, and he would wait for her to come from her shift to cook for him because he claimed not to know how to cook, and you know what, that girl was dumb enough to believe him !
the high maintenance + princess act has to be turned to an all time high at the beginning of the relationship, don’t even pretend you’re willing to help and volunteer to do anything, don’t reach out for your wallet as if you were willing to pick up the tab, this man needs to understand from day one that you’re made for the soft life and the soft life only !
never think, “oh just this one time i guess i can do this thing”, because men will see that as an opportunity to get one more thing off their plate,
you gotta play smart in dating 😉
!!!!
You don’t have to do these things. You get to do them. You deserve to do them.

Just think: stick to your plans, and in 6 months, you might not even recognize yourself.
Normalize not forcing people to choose you. If they think they can find better elsewhere – let them. Respectfully.
Reset Sunday guide :
disconnect : Starting by turning off your notifications, this is YOUR time you need to focus on you and only you. You could also delete social media at least for the day, works even better. Don’t answer any message unless it is something urgent, people need to respect your time.
Set the mood : Get comfortable and set a calm and relaxing mood by lighting some candles, putting on a comfortable outfit which makes you feel pretty, turning on some music, anything that puts you in the right mood for taking care of yourself.
Self care: Now you can start taking care of yourself. Start the longest skin care ever (don’t forget the neck), hydrate your whole body (damage from winter cold is no joke), take vitamins, put on a hair mask, paint your nails, massage your face while the mask is on, don’t forget to drink a lot of water.
Clean your space : While your masks and creams are on, you can start tidying up your place. Your mind is clearer when your working space is clean. Don’t forget to spray some perfume in your room for the final touch.
Prepare things for tomorrow : if you have work or classes tomorrow you can pick out your clothes the night before and organize your bag, that way you won’t be in a rush when you’re leaving the next day.
Relax : Now that everything is settled it is time to relax. Go watch Netflix under a warm blanket while drinking hot chocolate, listen to a podcast while doing yoga, go for a walk… Find something that makes you feel calm and relaxed and enjoy that moment !
Doing some of that tonight, self care sundays let’s go!
I’m going to try and implement this.
Right!! We definitely missed that opportunity
🔥🔥🔥Where can I get one???!!!!!
Stop saving your “nice things” for special occasions. You being alive is the special occasion. Putting your best self out into the world is only going to attract more great things for you!
