Totally divine... the menu for my exhibition
So I need to give you reasons to come to my exhibition launch besides the 31 hearts. And if this doesn't persuade you, I don't know what will. Christina Patricios of Odd Cafe has developed the most divine afternoon tea menu for the launch of my exhibition on Women's Day. In line with the red lipstick hearts, everything is red.
Feast your eyes on this, people:
Red velvet cupcakes (how can we not?)
White chocolate cheesecake with berry coulis (I've tried this. It's pretty good.)
Scones served with rose cream and strawberry jam (rose cream? Want!)
Boozy choc chilli cupcakes (can't wait to try these)
Cherry tomatoes with feta and red figs (salivating at the thought)
and the odd one out (totally appropriate given the theme of my exhibition)
Then, if you'd like something stronger than tea, there's a truly tempting selection for the non-designated drivers:
The oDD Cosmopolitan: the uniquely oDD variation on the classic, with silver Patron and pomegranate juice
Roseberry cocktail: Strawberries muddled with vodka syrup, lemonade and topped with apple juice
Conchita: Patron silver and elderflower muddled with mint and topped with lemonade
Strawberry lips: strawberry cream liqueur laced with gold tequila
Perhaps best of all given the cold weather, there's Gluhwein.
Don't forget, half of the proceeds of the art go to Home of Hope, so you'll be getting a unique piece of art at a never to be repeated price, with the added bonus of knowing you're contributing to a good cause. How can you resist?
