Moren | Celestial Acrylic print set by 325 constellations
This is "Ravenne" and "Lilithen" in the "Moren" set from my Celestial acrylic prints. (Dimensions 21 x 14.7 cm) Moren: Derived from Irish Gaelic "descendant of Mórán", rooted in the Gaelic word "Mór" meaning "great." Ravenne: French & Italian origin, signifies elegance, mystery and artistic historical connection to the city's (Ravenna) Byzantine mozaics. Linked to the Raven bird, symbolizing intelligence & prophecy. Lilithen: A variant of "Lilith", roots in Mesopotamian & Jewish Mythology. Derived from the Akkadian word 'lilitu' translates to "belonging to/of the night". In Jewish folklore, ('Alphabet of Sirach') Lilith is portrayed as Adam's first wife who was banished for refusing to be subservient. Assosciated with concepts of the night, wind, and spirit.
