This account is ran by two cats; Bitrate (or Bit for short) and Krypta, that are using the internet to immortalize themselves forever. We might pass away one day, but the memory of us will live on.
Bitrate is the fucked up white cat and the void cat is Krypta. This is a project that has began relatively recently, after being lurkers around the Internet since forever. Sometimes the human— Sorry, CAT urge to socialize and interact with others and to create publicly is too great.
Scattered thoughts, stories, feelings and experiences will be tossed in this account here-and-there. Have fun

My personal gripes with Gacha Life 2 after fucking around it for a hour
So Krypta just made me aware today that Gacha Life 2 is actually the latest Gacha application, not Gacha Club. I have not kept up with the Gacha games status for years, okay.
I went into the game biased, I admit. I felt that any game after Gacha Life was way too cluttered, overcomplicated and uneccessarily complex. I never touched Gacha Club for more than 20 minutes all those years ago, because of how horrendous of an experience it was, for me. So when I heard of the sequel, I was skeptical. And when I went into it, I felt about the same experience as I did with Gacha Club. Overwhelmed.
Changing the lineart for every single part of the character? All these incredibly small details?? I felt as if the front hair often overclipped with the rear head, especially seen with never additions. There's a lack of consistency in the items, lineart consistency is all over the place aswell.
Now, another man's trash is another man's treasure, yes. I prefer simplicity unless I specifically ask for details. Some of these things may be why another person enjoys it, I'm not here to argue that. I, personally, just do not like it.
Because there are also improvements for sure. The backgrounds in the Studio look amazing and a lot more personalized and beautiful than the previously ripped 144p backgrounds. And all the fan inclusion is absolutely a positive thing, Gacha is known for including fan submitted creations all the time. Very well versed in the community, so I believe all of these features are things long-time fans of Gacha always asked for.
... Though I still definitely think it sucks the clothings are somehow weirdly limited. For example 90% of crop tops are for woman bodies. Sometimes there's a weird limitation in patterns or button up shirts, and many more. The sock section is a perfect example of what I want: One pattern, several version. I was hoping these would be fixed, because they're also an issue in Gacha Life, but unfortunately not ...
Though, gotta say, as purely a character creator, it's fantastically enabling and accessible. A little hard to get the hang of, yeah, but people have made straight up art out of these. So I would say it's a very respectable community. And a good character creator game. But I personally will never ever touch it ever again from how insane it is.
In short waa my brain too stupid game too complex :( personally 4/10 experience
