And just today we got leaks of those upcoming Overwatch Lego sets. All of them seem designed to pack in 2-3 characters plus some game scenery, with a couple featuring Payloads (the Gibraltar one accurately portraying Widowmaker as trying to avoid all contact with it), a big one with the rocket from Gibraltar (and the only way so far to get Mercy, the clever bastards), and a scene set recreating that early Genji vs Hanzo short. There’s also a set of just a big transformable Bastion you can build, which is neat, but the character-focused one I’m really excited about is of course the D.Va and Reinhardt pack. Both get big Lego-build versions of their respective mecha armors which their minifigures can fit in, and they look awesome. The fact that I love both characters really seals the deal. These generally all look good overall, so I’m excited to see what other kinds of sets are further down the line.
