#Repost @hi.ravelry (@get_repost) ・・・ Mum, Dad, I would like to tell you something: I love knitting. This grandma's hobby? Yes... well, no! Things have changed. It started 18 months ago, thanks to Youtube videos, blog posts and all the helpful content shared by the community and I guess I become addicted. I can create something using my hands whilst keeping playing with colors and textures, learning new techniques and all this without having my eyes stuck to a screen (well almost... Hello @hi.ravelry!). That's super cool! To the question raised by the choreographer Twyler Tharp in her book "The creative habit": "When you work, do you love the process or the result", I would answer without hesitation "the process", who makes me like the result much more. Do/Undo/Find a better technique or fiber... that works for me and it's a great therapy to cure my quest for perfection neurosis. If it's not perfect, I'll know what to improve next time. And that's okay. Moreover, if I can get a garnment fitting perfectly my size, style and favourite colours, the process worth it, that's for sure. If you'd like to see my progress, search "breeknit" on Ravelry. Thanks @hi.ravelry for the highlight ;-) #process #handmade #ravelry #hiravelry #myravelry #knitting #ravelersofinstagram #ravelrycommunity #knittersofinstagram #yarnlove #slowlife #imademyclothes https://www.instagram.com/p/BvTxqjcF6Wm/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=i59xvc4mk4w7
