Dig Dug (ディグダグ?) is an arcade game developed and published by Namco in Japan and released on April 19, 1982. It was later published outside of Japan by Atari. The game was later ported for several consoles and included in compilations such as the Namco Museum series. The game is based on a simple concept… to eliminate underground-dwelling monsters by inflating them until they pop, or by dropping rocks on them.
