Zachary Binx is based on Thackery Binx from Hocus Pocus. He is a 25 year old ghost, catacombs security, and uses he/they pronouns. He has the power of shifting and invisibility.

Binx has spent... a larger amount of time away from Earth. How much? Well, they're not exactly sure. But man, there's a lot of... new technology. They thought there were a lot of changes across the span of 300 years. But the 2000s really took things to a new level.

And though, human bodies don't really change - having the option to walk on two legs this time is still a bit odd. But hey - at least they won't be getting sideways glances as a talking cat. Only weird looks when their coordination isn't the best.

They're a fall lover through and through. Even with it being the most stressful time of the year for them in the past, there's nothing they love more than the sound of crunching leaves. The smell of pumpkins, the colors of the trees. The lights that flicker in houses and all of the kids looking for the next scare.

He'd be lying if he told you that he hadn't let out a sigh of disappointment when that black flame sparked to life again. Everything had moved in slow motion as he felt himself ripped from the fabric of the afterlife. And all he could manage to say was... "dammit, Max."

Binx loves hard, and protects his friends even harder. If you have them on your side you are sure to have a friend for life - someone who will lay down their life for you. Well... sorta? He's still unsure how this ghost stuff works.

"Uh, Binx..." After meeting Phyllis, Casper really didn't expect to run into any other ghosts in this town. Zachary Binx had been such a nice surprise and now, wide eyes turning from the screen they had been staring at, their poor Sim running around on fire, they were even more glad they were. That seemed like an important thing to know how to avoid. "I didn't know that could happen. Did you know that could happen?"

when he wasn't hanging with dani, curling up at casper's humble abode had become a great past time. they always enjoyed their time with the other ghost.

binx looked up from their newspaper, setting it down as casper said their name. "whoa," he caught a glimpse of the screen, eyebrows raising as he peered over casper's shoulder. "no way. i didn't know they were flammable. d-do you think they're gonna put themselves out? is that something people know how to do? do you fire extinguisher humans?"

"wait! you can't just cross the road like that you're gonna get-"

binx covered his face as the black cat narrowly avoided a car. the breath he sucked in was released, and he spun on his heel. his gaze had been glued to the black cat for a few blocks now. it's the only way he would have ended up here, of all places. a sanderson sister haunt.

they were distracted. it's the reason their body collides with the other. "i am so so sorry! i should have been-"

their gaze darkens. "we have really got to stop meeting like this."

binx wasn't much for drinking, but this part of town had become a usual part of his nightly prowls. and the bar cast quite the shadow into the alley next to it - it was great for shifting back and forth.

tonight he hovered for a few moments extra, gaze scanning for someone. and when they spotted him, they could have sworn their eyes were tricking them. haku? right-- the missing had returned. "it's been a while." he approached slowly, "how was it?"
