The Tzu Life

I'm just a small town girl from Ohio who just happens to think that Shih Tzu's are THE best little dogs in the world!! I have 3 of them myself, all little girls. They are: EMILY ANNE age 5 BINDI SUE age 3 ELLA GRACE age 11months This page will be all about them!!

My little Bindi has to go back to the vet tomorrow. She did well with getting her 2 back teeth out but they think they are going to have to remove her anal glands as one is possibly impacted as she is showing the same symptoms as before. Ugh.

Brought a toy wolf home today for the girls to check out. It's made of rabbit fur so they loved it of course. Little Ella is trying to howl like the wolf in the bottom pic. Even Pandora the cat had to come & check it out...lol

For the life of me, I still can't figure out how to post a comment under someone's pic. If there isn't one of those little speech bubble things, I can't type anything. I know emilykix that you asked me how old Emily was in the pic of her and Bindi & there's no way I can respond. (except for here, lol, Emily was 3 in that pic. She was little but she's gained a bit of weight since I had her spayed)

Anyway, what am I doing wrong that I can't comment on pics?

This is the pic I took in March 2011 when Emily wasn't feeling well after her vaccines. Bindi was by her side all day. I love the bond they have.

A couple years ago, Emily wasn't feeling well after a reaction to her vaccines....Bindi would "cuddle" with her because she knew something was wrong. Today......Emily is returning the favor. (Bindi had a back tooth removed on each side of her mouth, she also had her teeth cleaned & one of her anal glands was VERY full so they drained that as well. She's resting & glad to be home!!)

Bindi's Vet Procedure

Just got a text from the vet's office....Bindi is doing well & I can go pick her up at 1:15.....YIPEE!!! She's going to be even more spoiled that she already is (if that's even possilbe!!) the next couple of days!!! It's just not the same without her at home!!

Bindi is not feeling well at all. What I thought was an ear infection, turned out to be a "slight" ear infection and 2 back teeth that are infected & need to be taken out. I feel so bad because I don't ever brush their teeth like some people do & I know this is my fault <insert broken heart here>. Bindi is so sad & lets out little whines every so often because it hurts. I've given her baby aspirin but she got sick this morning after I'd given her one & I don't want to upset her tiny tummy.  She has NEVER, EVER wanted to sit on my desk before....until today. She wants me to hold her or be very close to her at all times.....as does Ella. So either I have to get a bigger desk....or Bindi needs to feel better soon!! I'm hoping for the latter of the two!

Sneaky Little Ella

Little Ella is tooooo funny. Since we've gotten the kitten, I had to come up with a place to put the cat food & litter box so that the girls won't get into them. I have a long hall closet with sliding doors so I put them in there, with a cute wooden gate (with paw prints even) to block all but a teeny entrance for the kitten to get through. Wellllll Ella just discovered the other day, that SHE too can fit through that entrance. Now she knows she's not to get in there & she goes in & eats the kitten food anyway. The funny part of this is....once she's in...for some reason she "thinks" she can't get back out....so she barks for me to come help her. Then I go & get her out & tell her not to go in there, of course she does it anyway. I just think it's cute that she goes in knowing she's not supposed to...and then has to have me come & get her out. Personally, I think she (and Bindi & Emily for that matter) know that no matter what they do....they'll never make me mad ♥

The story behind this pic is the mere fact that sometimes....not often....Ella doesn't like to share me with Bindi or Emily. So the first little pic at the top is her giving Bindi the "warning look"....the second & third little pics are Ella trying to tower over Bindi (who is now laying on her side hoping to not get attacked). The final & biggest pic, needs no description. Although, if you notice, Bindi's arm is trying to push Ella back.  Poor Bindi is such a gentle soul & hates confrontation. Ella is learning.....that she HAS to share, wether she likes it or not!
