How I Feel When Someone Hacked My Website
What’s your worst nightmare during your work? When it comes to web developments and project deployments, my worst nightmare is having my website hacked. After all the hard works I’ve done, it’s just take a minute from someone to hack it and destroy everything. Feels like a bad day huh? Well, it is worst than that. I know that there’s come a point in your life that your site will be hacked after some precautions done but to destroy everything is not that I imagine.
Maybe someone feels they are superior to everyone because they called themselves the genius programming experts. But nonetheless to say, I think they are foolish enough to hack a website. Why does some wants to hack? Probably, because they want to get some information or just want to show that they are brighter than you or wants to pest you. Whatever their reasons are, they are stupid. Everyone who learn some programming think they are the best, and then, the more they learn, the more they realize how ignorant they actually are.
There are a lot of motives why some hackers did it. Want to prove anything? Want for revenge? Want for superiority? Want to spy? Anyone can experience it at any time. So what will you do next?
To prepare for the worst, I routinely backup everything - files, databases, scripts etc
Change my passwords once or twice a month. Strong passwords are useful when it comes to account security.
Use two factor authentication in logging into my website
No personal/contact data displayed in my website.
Placing emails, website files and database on different hosts or servers
There are lots of ways where you can secure your accounts and websites online. What you need to do is to follow those steps and prepare for the worst. Website hacking can occur at any time of the day when you less expect it so it’s better to prepare for it.
Why a Lawyer Needs a Website
They say ‘A wealthy lawyer has a lot of clients’. It’s not surprising since there are lots of people willing to pay in order for their case to win. Unfortunately, not all situation are like this. There are lots of lawyers still searching for clients and striving to pay their loans and debts. The following are the reasons why a respectable lawyer needs to have their own website:
1. Popularity and reputation. In order for a lawyer to be in demand, he should be known first in the public. Either word of mouth, tv and radio station, magazine and newspaper or his website. The website is accessible for 24/7 so his clients can refer to his portfolio at any time they want in any place and can set their appointments from the comfort of their home.
2. Bring in more clients. In today’s advent of technology, people are relying on the internet to shop, play game, surf, socialize and book for a service. So it is natural that some of clients found you through searching online.
3. Online Portfolio. Referrals are importantin getting clients yet your portfolio matters the most. Before a client gets your service, he needs to know you more and your achievements, cases you won, in short your track record. He wants to know if he can trust you and if you are worthy for the fee to win his case. Thus, an online portfolio is a must so that potential clients can know your track records ahead of time by visiting your website.
Listed above are just few advantages of having a website for a lawyer profession. This is also applicable if you have a law firm and wants to attract more clients to get your service. There are 2 ways to do it:

The First Time I Made a Forum
Sometimes an idea just popped out of mind and realized this must be done. A similar incident happened when I think I needed to make a forum. Some might consider it unnecessary for there are a lot of forum websites out there but I still think having your own forum gives you more power and authority. Below are most of the reasons why I want to make a forum:
Increase my Site Traffic and Profits. I’m desperate for my site’s performance. A lot of users I know suggest to join forums and place my signature linking back to my website. I did it. But I’m mad to those who banned me because of my IP address as well as on rude forum commenters who think highly of themselves. So if I can’t join them, I make my own forum instead.
Meet New People. There are lots of users in the forum. Some ask questions while others suggest solution to the problems. As time passes by, you meet new people and friends in the forums having the same skills and knowledge like you and you may want to get their contact details.
Group Where I Belong. It is best to be affiliated in a group or community where there is a sense of belonging, common goals, and common knowledge and beliefs. No man is an island they say and this is true. Whenever I have a problem I can’t solve, I always ask in the forum and peers what is the best thing to do. Not only is the forum helpful but also serves as a home to stray fellows who need guidance for the right directions.
Share Problems, Solutions and Ideas. Forum is all about sharing information, helping each member to solve their problems and grow. There is always a solution to a question and if you are lucky, an expert who is a forum member will guide you every step of the way. No high fees, no consultation fees, just plain benevolence.
Build a Community. I’m always aware of being lonely. I'm a loner and I feel that no one can have the same purpose and beliefs as I have. But luckily I meet a few good guys that inspire me to build a community and help each other out.
There are a lot of reasons I want to share but I always summarize my writings into important parts that answer the questions.
How to Set up a Forum Website with PHPBB
This installation I’m going to share with you involves your own domain name and your own web hosting account. I assume your web hosting has cPanel and a one-click installer to install PHPBB. Login to your cPanel, go to your automatic installer such as Fantastico or QuickInstall, select PHPBB after that choose ‘New Installation’. Choose from the option which domain you like to utilize for the installation, and complete the remaining input fields then just hit on ‘Install’. A new forum site will be installed after a successful installation.
So that’s how I usually install a forum site. You can always use free forum hosting sites but it always helpful to use your own personalized forum site utilizing your domain name and hosted in your premium web hosting account because you can always do what you want with it. No restrictions and no ads. Just your forum. Hopefully, I shared something helpful to you.
What To Do When You’re Bored
It’s been quite a while when we talked about coding and other web development stuffs, I know as of now your stress that drained all your energies out. I know being a programmer has lots of its ups and downs. Though you earn a lot depending on your expertise but you drain all your energies out, not to mention your health and mental states are also depreciating. So here’s what I do when I want to break free from stress and refresh my mind:
Do yoga. It helps me calm my senses as well as help my body maintain its figure.
Hiking/Jogging. When I’m stressed out, I need to find a way where I can pour all my energies and frustrations so I run and hike every late afternoon. It’s advisable to do this every early morning unfortunately I’m on the night shift so my only vacant time is in the late afternoon after I woke up.
Go out with friends/families sometimes. It’s not good to be alone facing your computer all the time. You need to socialize and maintain your good vibe and relationship to your families and friends. After all, when you have a problem, they are the first ones you can lean on. In my case, I treat them to dinner or go to adventures parks, trip, beach, wherever my feet take me.
Watch movies. It’s good to take a break once in a while. Do not overabuse yourself. You only have one physical body and it’s your responsibility to take care of it. Watching my favorite movies with my loved ones, my partner or my friends relieves my stress a bit.
Go malling / shop. I go to a mall and shop. I don’t mind walking around the mall and find good items to purchased or just entertain myself by buying something. After all, it’s shopping! Best kind of exercise while doing pleasurable things in life.
Cook my own food. It’s not good to always depend on ready to eat packed foods, instant noodles and junk foods. They always contain some preservatives that are not good for the body. It’s best to use fresh foods like fish, vegetables, meat, and cook it the way you want to. It’s the healthy way of living.
House cleaning. Don’t be lazy. Sometimes, I feel tired after a few days of work facing the computer and sleep early. I always set my time when I clean the house, do the laundry, and do some gardening. It’s nice to work in a clean and orderly environment where you can think straight and at the same time calm your senses.
I have enumerated some things I do when I get bored and how I entertain myself to stay away from all the negativities. What are the things you do to entertain yourself when get bored from work? Kindly share it with us by commenting below.

How Much Do You Cost
For freelancers, sometimes it is difficult to determine how much one will charge a client. It is not right to be pricey nor so cheap when it comes to web design and web development jobs. So here are some things I do:
Research Related Job Pricing in your Area. I always read the job posting ads that seek for the same qualifications that I have. I also examine how much they willing to offer for that particular position. Additionally, I join the Facebook community of freelancers in my area and ask about web design and web development projects and how much are these paid.
Filter Categories. I filter job posts into local and international clients or project offers. International companies, organizations and private individuals tend to offer bigger incentives than local clients. Aside from that, I always consider whether it will be an hourly rate, fixed monthly rate, or per project basis salary.
Identify clients. As a freelancer, I have the freedom in selecting which clients I accept. Of course, I go through interviews and practical tests but it doesn’t mean I’m desperate to accept all offers. I weigh in my skills and their offer, including incentives, before accepting their contract. I pick the client that offers the best deal based on my criteria.
Contract. This is the most crucial part. It states the provisions and coverage of my work, the client’s protection, and some terms and conditions about the job including my salary. I make sure we both agree on the contract before starting the project. Some clients are clever enough to make no payments at all because it is not included in the contract or they don’t just like the job.
Giving support and updates. It is normal that a few clients may ask for support and revisions/updates for an application or software you develop. Ensure you include it in your written contract that whatever support or update you’ve done is an extra payment.
Giving discounts. Some of my past clients return and ask for another web develoment service. I give enough consideration to my loyal clients and drop my fee within a certain percentage.
Mind my expenses. Another thing I consider are my expenses at work. I might need a new computer soon or hire programmers and staff to support my growing web development service. This entails money to circulate in the business to cover all expenses for a certain period of time.
Payments. Local clients might pay cash or a bank transfer while international clients might pay through PayPal and credit cards. I check all your available payment options to ensure I receive the exact amount. I can ask for a down payment for the web project or can ask them by stages, or hourly, or monthly, or per project basis.
You may need to lower your service fee because of competition but that’s not an issue. So long as you consider all the points I’ve given above, your pricing should good enough for you to live well. Will you agree with me? If not, comment below.

The strategy became out of the multiplane camera procedure utilized as a part of conventional animation since the 1930s. It is frequently utilized in computer games.
Website designers and developers started fusing parallax scrolling in 2011, utilizing HTML5 and CSS3. Advocates contend it is a basic approach to grasp the web’s fluidity. Advocates use parallax scrolling as an instrument to better connect with site visitors and enhance the general user experience that a site gives. In the realm of computerized design graphics, expert developers can accomplish parallax scrolling in various ways. Raster method - lines of pixels in an photo are commonly composited and refreshed in top-to-bottom arrangement with a slight delay (refer to as the horizontal blanking interval) between drawing one line and drawing the next line.
