I’m really struggling mentally. I haven’t had a therapist for about two years now bc America sucks. And I’ve been through some of the hardest shit I’ve ever been through. I love my independence, I love my life, but I feel so alone. Alone in the world, in my conscious existence, mentally, alone. I know lots of people struggle with this and from the outside I have lots to be grateful for. I just feel alone. I feel isolated in friendships, I feel ignored emotionally by my family, for years the only place I feel like I’ve ever felt collective is online. I love fandoms and I’ll always be on stan twitter but as I “grow up” it’s harder to find people who relate. I’m delusional to think I’m special enough for someday all this work, tears, isolation, cringe, grind, grit, passion, as labors of love will ultimately pay off and fulfill me. I want to work fearlessly towards my passions with the same burning desire that I have towards making friends. We all just want to be liked, but why when I am liked is it still not enough?
