Thou fool, that shall say: A Bible, we have got a Bible, and we need no more Bible.
The Book of Mormon is supposed to be a companion to the Bible but yet it constantly bashes the Bible as well as contradicts it. No thank you, I will stick to the Bible, you know the book that has thousands of manuscripts dating all the way back to the BC era instead of a book that has absolutely no backing from the BC times and or any archaeological evidence backing its claims up, of the simplest things like elephants living in America
Ether 9:19 "And they also had horses, and asses, and there were elephants and cureloms and cumoms; all of which were useful unto man, and more especially the elephants and cureloms and cumoms."
As well as honey bees in 600 BC
Ether 2:3 "And they did also carry with them deseret, which, by interpretation, is a honey bee; and thus they did carry with them swarms of bees, and all manner of that which was upon the face of the land, seeds of every kind."
Although historically Honey bees are documented to FIRST being brought to the Americas in 1622.
Oh lets not forget where Jesus was suppose to be born.
Alma 7:10 "And behold, he shall be born of Mary, at Jerusalem which is the land of our forefathers, she being a virgin, a precious and chosen vessel, who shall be overshadowed and conceive by the power of the Holy Ghost, and bring forth a son, yea, even the Son of God."
Yes I know " Smith meant the area of Jerusalem" if you can show me ANY historical evidence OUTSIDE the LDS faith where someone labeled Bethlehem being in the Land of Jerusalem then maybe I will reconsider but you ask any historian outside the LDS faith they will look at you like you have 10 heads.
This is only but a FEW. I sympathize with Mormons because read my bio. I denied God for 11 years due to willful ignorance of believing what I was taught by fallible man rather then search my own. When I searched to try and prove the Bible and Christianity wrong I ended up converting myself.
I say this in love Mormons are not Christians if you are offended by that I say it out of love and to get you fired up to try and prove me wrong.
