Hello! It's been a while...

To start! This is very much an Out Of Character post, not part of the story or anything.

It has been a very very long time since major development on this project happened, and I am sorry! I had slowly lost interest in working on this, and working on anything in general. I have made attempts to pick this back up only for it to feel like a slog. But recently I have found some awesome antidepressant that actually make me feel awesome! I feel back to my best self and I'm finding motivation and enthusiasm again! Now that may sound like good news for this project, but it has actually made it much clearer that I really don't have much interest in working on this further. So with that being said...

This project is now officially Canceled*

Shiiiit aughh I hate that I am saying this but I think it is better than just leaving it in limbo for the rest of time. Now what exactly does Canceled* mean? It means that I currently have no plans to continue to develop this story in the foreseeable future. That might change! Maybe one day I'll get that drive back, but I am making no promises! But... Just because I am not developing it anymore does not mean there will be no closure on this story... I am leaving a gift for the diehard fans of this messy story, and anybody else who is still clinging on to this!

I will be posting an outline of how the finale of this story was supposed to happen

This part is the scary part because "oooh but what if I wanna finish it!! everyone will already know what's gonna happen..." but I have decided that I'm just gonna put a cap on this story! I will finish it in a way I can actually achieve. The main hiccup in this project was that my ideas got too grand, if I want to do what I planned I would need to learn new tools completely from scratch, or at the very least pay someone else to do it! Too many moving parts, including the NPC Tournament side of things, the story itself was also kind of a mess, I started out not meaning to write a story and then i ended up writing a lot of it off the top of my head, not a good way to write! Not to mention this was my first time doing anything like this at all.

So! Over the next couple of days, maybe weeks, I want to be posting the step by step happenings of how the story was supposed to end. If for some reason you want to continue to hold out hope that I will finish this, I will be tagging these posts as "#the end of him" if you would like to block that tag to avoid spoilers for a thing you might never see otherwise. Hopefully I can format this into something akin to more normal fanfiction so that it isn't sterile and boring, I still wanna make it fun :)
