Thoughts on insurgent

Well I finally saw it today, and if I’m being completely honest i was a bit underwhelmed. To be fair, Insurgent was my least favorite book in the series, but still throughout the movie I kept getting the feeling that it was lacking something. Acting was great, production was great, it stayed pretty close to the book (i mean its a movie interpretation it’s not like it’s gonna be exactly the same), but I still left the theater wishing there was more. I don’t know quite how to describe it, but let’s just say that it didn’t leave the same impact on me as the Divergent movie.
