x1: What would you say to the people who call Playboy "objectifying"?
Jude: I think calling Playboy “objectifying” is kind of a joke. Playboy is an outlet for what you consider “objectifying”. It’s a place for women to be sexy. For even its readers male or female to feel sexy. There’s also a lot more to playboy than naked photos too.
x1: Where do you grow up?
Jude: In NYC. I live with my mom. she copped our apartment 39 years ago. we are so lucky to have a rent stabilized apartment. the price we pay is nuts (and by nuts I mean dirt fuckin cheap) for a 2BR in the heart of the east village/LES. if it weren’t for that come up, I would not be livin in NYC unless I had crazy good n steady pay.
x1: What's your favorite magazine and why?
Jude: I love Playboy. Ever since their early issues I was obsessed with the creative direction behind the photos- the vintage mags had amazing use of soft light which made their even more explicit images somehow so tasteful.

Jude: The columns the editorial team would write were always on point and fascinating…and their interviews stay on point. Don’t get me started on their covers either, pure fuckin genius…The fact that they make Braille copies of the mag for blind people, a m a z i n g.
x1: so you're are photographer. what do you shoot with?
Jude: i shoot mostly with a contax g2. and a real nice lens i saved up for
x1: film or digital?
Jude: film. occasionally dslr. but 95% film
x1: where do you find inspiration for your pictures?
Jude: mostly just walking around and being exposed to so many things around me, it makes me want to document it all.
x1: who are some of your favorite photographers?
Jude: my favs and main inspo in no particular order are: Helmet Newton, Nan Goldin, Vivian Maier, Diane Arbus and Nobuyoshi Araki. do yourself a favor and look up the work of all those photographers y’all will have a blast
x1: how many tattoos do you have?
Jude: 6 total
x1: would you mind saying what each meant?
Jude: one says LES, one is hebrew for loyal, another is hebrew for true. i have a skull with roses blossoming from it. and a tattoo dedicated to my mom that is two roses with “mother” underneath. and than an Om by my right hip bone.
x1: do you plan on getting anymore?
Jude: i only want a few more
x1: Why do you hate terry Richardson?
Jude: if you are a woman, it should be obvious. also his photos bore me.
x1: How do you feel about Lana Del Rey?
Jude: she is fake dude. in all honesty- like the literal factors that make her up as a person. she got work done and changed her entire persona because her record label felt it’d put her in a spotlight advantage. that’s still my bitch, I’ve fucked with her since day 1 all I’m saying is she isn't as authentic as she seems. this goes for MAD celebrities AND individuals.

BW: The reason he’s famous is because he started pop art, but there were many artists after him who did pop art however I believe they were more creative and just had overall better work. That’s just my opinion though.
