Attention all Clymer, Sherman and Bemus Point families~ We will be having a Family Drive-thru this Friday 4/10 from 2-4pm for ALL of our district families. We will be handing out our bags of foods to any families in need, no questions asked. For Clymer and Sherman, this will be held at the school. Please join the formed line, drive up to the school and a volunteer from 5&2 will hand you a bag. For Bemus Point, this will be held at St. Timothy Lutheran Church. 5&2 supporters~ We need your help right now. Our suppliers are limiting quantities that we can order. Fortunately, we were proactive and able to get almost everything from a few different sources. Just a reminder for delivery/pick-up updates on 5&2 food distribution: Bemus Point: Drive-thru distribution every Friday from 2-4pm at St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church. Clymer: Food distribution weekly via school buses (days may vary but food will be distributed every week starting 3/18). Ring Elementary: Sent 6 weeks of food home with children on their last day. As things unfolded at our school districts yesterday, so did our plans to distribute food to our participating schools and children. Please see below for the updates on 5&2 food distribution: Bemus Point: Drive-thru distribution every Friday from 2-4pm at St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church. Clymer: Food distribution weekly via school buses (days may vary but food will be distributed every week starting tomorrow). In light of the 4pm Chautauqua County press conference today, we want to update you as to our plan to get food home to 5&2 families. In the event of school closings this week (Clymer and Sherman already have school closings posted for this week), food will go home with participating students this week. For the following weeks, we will most likely have a drive thru food distribution for Clymer, Sherman, Bemus Point and Ring Elementary. Since Clymer has no school this week, we will begin their drive thru distribution on Friday 3/20 from 3-5pm in the parking lot at the school. Please stay tuned for the weekly times and days of Sherman, Bemus Point and Ring Elementary. We will post as soon as available.
