Artist: John Park Title: More Battle Angel Alita concepts “This was one of the motorballers I designed after John Jones. I thought he would make a perfect fit for this character type Scrapyard Skull concept. I rendered this concept after Ben Procters initial sketch” Cool design…

Thank you for this blog!
Np! You’re too kind :)
Is it weird to be a girl and be interested in Alita? I saw the movie and thought Alita was adorable, so I’m going to check out the manga. But it seems like it’s mostly dudes who are into Alita.
It's not weird at all. I'm a girl and there's plenty of other girls who love this manga. If you enjoyed the movie you will love the manga so definitely check it out. Also, if it were true that some manga is enjoyed mostly by a male audience, this should not be an impediment or something that conditions you because you can also like it.
Battle Angel Alita fight 22: Ars Magna by Yukito Kishiro
I watched Alita: Battle Angel earlier this week :D I could voice some comments here and there, but still, I had a very pleasant experience with the movie!
Also thing is, I practically grew up on the manga, and it’s not a stretch to say that Kishiro’s art was one of the major influences on my own style, especially later volumes and first ones of the Last Order… I reread his comics countless times, studying and appreciating how kinetic his panels felt to me… After seeing the movie I had to celebrate it with a fanart <3
