But seriously, I know we wanted Normani to win, and she really deserves it, in my unbiased opinion. Like even if I didn’t Stan her, I would still think she deserved to win.

On the other hand, this is reality. Life is unfair sometimes. But what we have to be thankful for is that, now, everybody knows how much of a queen Normani is.

She has proven herself that she’s more than capable of overcoming and challenges thrown at her (whether it’s bullying or physical pain or hard choreo), and she has shown grace and charisma while being one of the best this competition has seen.

And more important than a trophy, is the fact that we’ve all witnessed her grow in just a span of weeks. She has loosened up, she has learned to show her emotions, she’s now less guarded, less afraid to be goofy. She looks lighter now, like the weight of the world has been lifted off her shoulders, and I think that’s the best lesson she needed to learn (and one that could only be learned by experiencing it herself) and that’s what has been keeping her from showing her truest potential before.

Now, she’s ready to slay even more for 5h3.

So yeah, I really believe Normani is the real winner, but fuck the trophy, she gained all of our respect, not only within the fandom, but also the rest of the world.
