Dark times all around but there are still people out there who love you
Do not hurt yourself, do not hurt others, get help, talk to someone, anyone. Humanity has survived before and we can do it now if we all just support each other. My country and my people let me down and endangered my life but thereâs nothing I or anyone else can do about that so letâs try to spread the love that is so clearly lacking.

masterlist
Your first day. Your stomach was somersaulting as you pulled the new uniform over your head, soon to be covered in sweat and engine oil. You felt nervous, like you always used to when you were a trainee, but now you couldnât mess up. There were no second chances. You were lead out into one of the many hangars at the military base, the sun just peaking over the horizon, letting you know that the soldiers would be awake soon; you needed to get working.
âIâm counting on you, Private.â Colonel Jones slapped a reassuring hand on your shoulder, giving you your orders and then moving on to the next hangar, where another new recruit will no doubt be waiting.
You nervously turned on your heels, gazing up at the beauty before you, a Beechcraft C-12 Huron. They were starting you off lightly today, only having you check the safety of one airplane, rather than a whole fleet or a repair, but nonetheless when you picked up your toolkit the contents rattled as your hands shook uncontrollably.
âGet a grip.â You whispered to yourself, climbing the temporary attached staircase up to the cockpit and beginning your duties.
A busted fuel control valve and three hours later, you were exhausted. Sweat was dripping off your skin and merging with whatever oily gunk had stuck itself to you during the morning. You wanted nothing more but a shower and your bed.
Alas, you heard the far too enthusiastic shouts from various soldiers and pilots approaching the plane, eager to start their training; you had probably overstayed your welcome.
âGeorge!â You heard a manâs voice, and the sound of clapping hands, leading you to assume that soldiers were in the hangar now.
âUp you go gentlemen.â You heard another voice shout, and before you could react there was a face staring at you.
âHello?â A younger man looked down at you, seemingly amused.
âHi, sorry, Iâm done, I was about to leave.â You rattled away, clambering off the little space on the floor and haphazardly grabbing your tools before dashing past the boy and down the stairs, only breathing once you were out of the hangar completely.
And that was the first time you met Calum.
The days that followed were stressful, including adjusting to the most awkward sleep schedule; to bed at 8:30pm for a wake up call at 3:30am.
An apparently âplannedâ fire drill at 5am rudely interrupted your shift which meant you had to finish an hour earlier to ensure the soldiers would stay to schedule. The ringing throbbed in your head long after the bell had stopped and you couldnât see straight as you attempted to tighten up bolts along the wing of the plane. Usually you would refuse to rest before leaving the aircraft but on this occasion you thought you would throw up if you didnât get yourself out of the metal contraption that appeared to be gradually getting smaller.
You stumbled out of the cockpit and your weak legs could barely carry you down the silver steps to the concrete. You were swaying dangerously and you reached out for a wall that wasnât there, you heard yourself fall to the ground but you didnât feel anything.
Everything went dark.
âHello? Can you hear me? Open your eyes if you can hear me.â
You let out a groan at the throbbing in your head, and also in response to the voice shouting at you. You opened your eyes a sliver, watching the corrugated metal ceiling come into focus.
âUhh?â You attempted to sit up, but that made your head protest angrily and sendt the room spinning.
âWoah, take it easy, you fainted.â You heard the low voice say again.
âWhat?â
I never faint, why did I faint?
âRelax, the medics will be here in a minute.â
You collected your thoughts for a moment and realised you were lying on the strangerâs lap.
âI can get up, Iâm fine.â You were inwardly panicking, what if you werenât allowed to work at the base again?
You wiggled out of their grip and stumbled to your feet, looking around and gathering your bearings. You were still in the familiar hangar, the airplane was still in one piece thankfully, but your tools were scattered around the hard floor where you fell.
You turned, finally putting a face to the voice.
âYouâre the boy from my first day!â You swayed dangerously on your feet, causing the boy to rush to your side.
âYouâre the girl from my second day,â He said with an infectious grin, âIâm Calum.â
âHi Calum.â Your concussion wasnât helping your conversational skills.
He laughed at that, but his face dropped as your legs finally gave out beneath you, causing you to fall right into his arms.
âHey, keep your eyes open!â He lightly patted your cheek, but you heard him audibly sigh as other voices seemed to approach you two.
âWhat happened?â
âI saw her faint, she just collapsed. She woke up about two minutes after.â
âOkay, weâll take it from here.â
You felt your body be moved from the warm comfort of Calumâs arms to what you assumed to be a material stretcher.
âTake care of her!â
The nurse said you had fainted from dehydration and sentenced you to a day of bed rest. While you should have been relaxing you couldnât stop thinking about Calum. Your memory of him was hazy but you were sure you would recognize him if you saw him again. You just wanted to thank him, he didnât have to stay with you or even call the medics, but he did.
You sat up in bed as your doctor came in.
âCan I go now?â You eagerly said.
âY/N, anyone would think you wanted to get back to work,â Your doctor shook her head and looked at her clipboard, âBut you have recovered well so Iâm going to let you go,â You smiled courteously, rushing out the room, only slowing to hear her shout, âBut give yourself a break!â
You wandered around the campus aimlessly, realising that really you knew nothing about Calum at all, and you had no idea what position he had at the base. As if fate had something about you falling head first into cute boysâ arms, you stumbled right into a tall body as you turned the corner, and tripped over boot-clad feet. Luckily they caught you before you hit the ground, saving you another bang to the head.
âIs this how you say âHelloâ to everyone?â
Your eyes widened as you heard Calumâs unmistakable voice, and you scrambled to your feet.
âI-I am so sorry,â You were a little take aback that you had just fallen into the arms of the exact boy you wanted, âI was looking for you, actually.â
âOh yeah?â His eyebrow quirked in curiousity, âWhat can I help you withâŚuh?â
âMy nameâs Y/N,â You answered his silent question, âI wanted to say thank you, for yesterday.â You shyly looked at your feet, suddenly realising how almost childish you sounded.
âI was gonna ask, are you feeling better?â
âYeah, it was a one off thing apparently, overworked myself.â You twisted your hands together, unsure why this attractive human was taking so much interest in you.
âWell Iâd be happy to rescue you if you ever fainted again.â
You smiled at that, slightly unsure if the beautiful stranger was flirting with you or it was just your wild imagination.
âThanks.â You winced a little as you spoke, a dull headache coming on from the harsh fluorescent lights of the main bunker.
âAre you okay?â Calum rushed to your side, a hand hesitantly resting on your arm in case you were to faint again.
âYeah, yeah,â You reassured him, squeezing your eyes shut, âI just have a migraine.â
âYou should rest, do you want me to take you back to your room?â
âNo.â You adamantly said, refusing to let the throbbing in your head win.
âWe could just go to the rec room?â He offered, still clearly worried.
âOkay.â You caved finally, and let Calum guide you down the corridor.
20 minutes later and you were sat on a couch opposite Calum, a mug of tea in your hands and laughing together like you two were old friends reunited after years of separation.
âHe said what?â You giggled, sipping your tea.
âI shit you not, he looked me dead in the eye and said âCalum, why do you have whiskers?â. You can imagine how relieved I was when I found out he was just high.â
Since that day on you and Calum were inseparable on your breaks; luckily his piloting didnât clash too badly with your early schedule, meaning you usually had the majority of your afternoons together before you had to leave to go to bed and Calum needed to attend his evening training.
âWhatâs up, Pup?â You intentionally rhymed as you greeted Calum, and sat on his legs, which were stretched out over the couch in the deserted rec room.
This nickname had developed over time, from you repeatedly noticing his love for dogs and how he acted exactly like a little puppy when heâs excited; in turn Calum called you Kitten, Kitty or Kit, but these names only came out when you two were alone.
âIâm tired KitâŚâ He whined, rubbing his eyes and stretching as you made yourself comfortable, âBut I did have enough energy to booby-trap the cupboard.â
You two playing pranks was not a rare occurrence, and they were mostly harmless, but you had made a name for yourselves around the base as the âTrouble Twinsâ.
âOh no.â You grinned, shutting up as Calum lightly slapped your arm to let you know someone was walking right into his trap.
âHi Charles!â Calum waved enthusiastically at his older co-pilot, who now gave him a suspecting look.
âWhat have you done?â He glanced over at you too, before looking closely at the cupboard he was about to open.
âI havenât done anything!â You said honestly, still waiting for the inevitable climax.
Charles huffed, still suspicious but opening the cupboard regardless, only to be immediately covered in flour.
âGoddammit!â He groaned, âHood!â
âYes Sir?â Calum managed in between laughs.
âYou better get this cleaned up, and youâre washing my clothes!â Charles stormed out of the room, powder white and leaving a cloud in his wake.
You held a hand over your mouth to muffle your laughter and watched Calum double over. You loved how his dimples always showed when he smiled so wide. Your joke was harshly interrupted by Corporal Jones walking into the room and announcing a spot check as you scrambled to your feet.
âReturn to your dormitories please.â
âYes Corporal.â You both chorused, giving each other a final glance before exiting the room in silence and going your separate ways.
You hadnât seen Calum for almost three solid days before he caught you coming out of your airplane hangar.
âHey!â You both said in unison, thankful for the minute of contact.
âTheyâve been drilling us really hard, but Iâm free at 3pm if you are?â Calum said hopefully, his warm brown eyes a comforting sight to you.
âSure! Meet in the rec room?â You grinned, truthfully just grateful to be seeing him.
âOkay, catch you later Kitten.â He winked and jogged into the large hangar, catching up with his fellow soldiers.
The rest of the day you were looking forward to finally being able to relax and hang out with Calum but as 3 oâclock came and went, he was nowhere to be seen. Usually you would just assume he was running late, but there was a wriggling feeling in your gut that wouldnât go away.
Something was wrong.
You left the rec room and ran through the corridors, suddenly noticing how empty and eerie they seemed. Opening a door onto the concrete you stumbled into a huddled group of Officials, all talking very fast and very quietly.
âPrivate.â Corporal Jones nodded solemnly at you, his eyes just avoiding yours.
âWhatâs wrong?â Your voice was a pitch higher than normal.
âNothing, Private.â An older, grey-haired Official addressed you but you kept your gaze fixed on Jones, who put a hand on the Officialâs shoulder and gave him a look which you couldnât quite read.
âY/N,â Jones took you out of earshot of the group, âA plane has gone missing in action. Weâre not sure how it happened but-â Your heart fell to your feet, your stomach joining it and it suddenly became hard to breathe.
âDonât you dare say Calum is up there.â You spat out, your eyes glazing over as you heard his next sentence.
âUnfortunately Hood is on the plane. But we have troops lookingâŚâ
Your legs gave out beneath you and you collapsed on the floor with a sob as he confirmed your worst suspicion. All Jonesâ consoling words were lost to the screaming thoughts in your head.
Heâs dead, heâs dead, heâs dead. God, Iâll never hear his laugh again, Iâll never see his smile again, Iâll never see him again.
You felt someone help you up and guide you away kicking and screaming, your vision had clouded with tears and before you could protest you saw it was Wes, who worked in the control tower and had become good friends with you and Calum over the course of a few months.
âWes?!â You shrieked, âYou should be in the tower looking for that goddamn plane!â You could tell he wasnât appreciating your volume, but you couldnât calm down.
âThey called me to get you. You wouldnât stop crying.â He shrugged, and you could tell he was clearly shaken up about the disappearance too.
âSorryâŚâ You croaked, now feeling a bit guilty but Wes only looked at you with understanding, and before you could stop yourself you were both hugging and crying.
âI donât know what happened, I should have been watchingâŚâ Wes sobbed into your shoulder, and you quieted down enough to let him speak.
âItâs not your fault, Wes,â You attempted to soothe the boy but you ended up pathetically looking at each other through blurry eyes, âWe are going to find this plane, and find Calum.â
âHow?â
âI donât know, but you are getting me into that tower and we are getting him back.â
âWhoâs she?â A familiar looking woman whom you had never spoken to asked as Wesâ key card allowed you both into the control room.
âUhâŚâ Wes stuttered, failing to come up with a cover story.
âWe donât need more people up here, especially unauthorized ones.â She coldly spoke, glaring at you and then back at the rapidly beeping computer in front of her.
âPlease, I want to help find the plane!â You begged, knowing she was one second away from calling security.
âHow do you know about the plane?â She raised her voice scarily and looked at Wes accusingly.
âCorporal Jones informed me. My⌠friend is up there,â You audibly stumbled over your words to describe Calum, âPlease, we need to find him.â
âWell I donât see how you could help,â She looked back and forth between you and Wes, finally giving in, âFine, you can stay, but only if you actually work.â
âThank you!â You and Wes let out a sigh of relief and rushed to his desk.
âWe calculated the time of disappearance and cross-referenced it with any freak weather or electrical disturbances but nothing seems unusual.â Wes blabbered, letting you look over his shoulder at the data.
âAny radio communication?â You asked hopefully.
âThere was static and this buzzing sound right before the plane dropped off the map.â Wes spoke.
You took a shaky breath, âPlease tell me that a Corporal checked over my work this morning.â
As you were still new to the camp, you needed moderation for a few months.
âI wouldnât know.â
âThere was a meeting early today,â The lady from before spoke, âThey all had to attend.â
âOh God.â You had to grip the desk or you would risk falling down again.
âWhat is it? Y/N?â
âI could have done this, I might have left a bolt unscrewed or a fuel tank could have leakedâŚâ You felt light headed and Wes let you have his seat, trying to calm you.
âThatâs a ridiculous assumption to make. Come on, youâre amazing at your job there is no way you messed up.â Wes interrupted.
âOh my God.â You heard the womanâs voice, âThey found the plane.â
âTell me itâs good news.â You pleaded, as you clutched Wesâ arm, probably too tight.
âItâs the wreckage.â
âNo. No, no no!â You felt hot tears cascade down your cheeks, unable to control them.
You were sure Wes was crying too, but the aching in your head and your heart was too overwhelming to notice anyone else.
Heâs gone.
You pushed yourself out of the chair and ran, you needed to get away. You stumbled down countless stairs and found yourself in the hangar where it all started. You fell against the steel walls and slid down them crying and spluttering and calling out to the emptiness. You wanted your best friend back.
âY/N? Y/N!â
Your mind was playing tricks on you, Calumâs voice rang out through the building and you flinched away as you felt a hand on your heaving body.
âGo away!â You scrunched your eyes closed tighter and wished your imagination to stop.
âY/N, itâs me, itâs Calum, look at me!â
âCalum?â Your voice cracked and you opened your eyes, crying harder when you saw Calumâs face, streaked with grease, staring at you with worry.
âYes, what happened to you?!â
âYou,â You gulped, throwing yourself over the tan boy, needing proof he was real, âI thought you were dead.â You whispered the offensive word.
Calumâs arms wrapped securely around your torso, holding you tighter and allowing you to fully wrap your limbs around him as he sat on the floor.
âI would never leave you.â
You pushed off his body, somewhat reluctantly, to look at him properly. His hair was frizzed and messy, the usual ringlets having lost their bounce; at a closer look you realised what you thought was grease was actually smoke and his uniform was singed on one side.
âThey found the plane wreckage⌠Are you the only one whoâŚ?â
You didnât want to finish your sentence.
âNo! Charles is okay - shaken up but okay - Adam got his leg burned a bit but Charles was helping him to the infirmary. I heard crying⌠I heard you crying so I came here.â
âWhat about you though, are you okay?â You fussed over his burnt sleeve and saw raw flesh that looked painful, âYou need to get to a doctor, Cal!â
âIâm fine.â
You noticed Calum intently staring at you, and you returned his gaze.
âWhat is it?â
He shook his head and looked down, something clearly weighing heavily on his mind.
âTell me.â You softly said.
Calum began slowly,
âThe hood caught fire and burned up the comms, we had to emergency parachute out but the whole time I wasâŚâ His voice hitched, âI was thinking about you, that I wouldnât ever see you again and tell youâŚâ
âCal?â You prompted him, he seemed to be miles away.
âI think Iâm in love you.â He searched your face for a reaction, but closed his eyes when you answered him with a kiss.
âGood, because I think Iâm in love with you too.â
âI knew it!â His features looked tired but his smile lit up his face, and all you could do was cuddle into his side.
âVery funny, but please go to the infirmary now Pup.âÂ
so calums birthday is in 4 days đđđ

âWhy must you always take the morning shifts y/n? I hate it when your alarm goes off!â Your roommate- Michael groaned as you sat up at 4:30 in your kitchen, making eggs. âWell Michael, you always complain but you could try and fall back asleep.â Laughing as you take two plates out of the cupboard. âBut that means no breakfast thatâs already made. Plus I go to work at 7. I wake up at 4:30, eat breakfast with you till 4:45, then I walk you to work, boom itâs 5:25, then when I go to the pet store to pet the cats at 6 I always stay there till 6:30 with gives me time to get the cat hair off my pants and go to work! Itâs been like that since forever and I canât ruin that now.â Michael gushed, as he took his plate of scrambled eggs and sat down.
âOkay yeah but you still always have your alarm set for 5:30 right? Just Incase?â You wondered, eating your own eggs. âYeah of course, and it pisses me off when it goes off.â Michael mumbled. You smiled, loving the early mornings that you and your roommate share. âLook we need to hurry up and eat. Stop talking.â Y/n laughed, biting into her piece of toast.
When she arrived at work with Michael, she quickly changed shoes as she was leaning on his shoulder, they quickly hugged and she scanned her keycard to get in. Walking into the huge lobby her heels clicked and clacked against the floor. It got the night receptionistâs- Jeremyâs attention. It was their little routine. When she walked in with her heels she would always try and make a tune and she would guess what it was.
âJingle bells.â He grinned. âEasy one. Iâll get you next time.â You smiled, taking your jacket off and pulling your folded blazer on over your plain white shirt.
As you were getting to the desk, Jeremy was getting ready to leave. âI think the doorman is getting in late, he is severely ill so make sure the door is open for the boss man.â He grinned before saying bye to Guy, the security guard and I. The doors to this building are always locked until 6:25/6:30 so unless you are the Ceo of the company, or have a key card you canât be let in.
As I was fiddling with some papers I heard the buzz. The buzz of him. He has this little buzzer that he carries around in his pocket when he needs me. He doesnât even have one for his assistant, he usually uses it when he wants to personally know when someone certain is here or for times like this, be let in. Quickly getting up I professionally rush to the door where he is non stop pressing his buzzer. When I opened the door and held it for him, he smiled. âNow wasnât that buzzer a swell idea Miss. Y/L?â He grinned, stopping to talk to me before he went upstairs to his office. âEarly today I see?.â I smiled at him, my hands behind my back. âWell, I need to prepare. Iâm expecting a client from Japan early this morning around 6:10, Iâll text you a picture so you know what he looks like.â Grinning he took his phone out. âSir I am not sure it is wise to have your receptionists phone number, is it?â I wondered, eyeing the phone.
âOh come on it wouldnât hurt. The thing I call an assistant probably couldnât send a picture to save her life, I should probably do it myself.â He smirked, knowing how frustrated I get as he has been trying to get my number for 3 years now with no legitimate excuse until now. Sighing, I took his phone and typed my Number in. âWell, it only took three years.â I looked at him and smiled weakly before he took his phone and went to the elevators.
Sitting back down at the receptionist desk, waiting until I got down to work. âGuy, Incase Terry shows up late can you make sure the doors are all unlocked by like.. 6:20?â I called to the little room where all of the security cameras were. âYou got it y/n! Count on me!â He called back, coming to sit out.
Around 6 o'clock I got a text, the picture of a Japanese businessman. Then I got a call. âHello?â I whispered, not knowing why since it was just Guy and me. âI need you to play as my assistant for this meeting. Angelic or whatever her name was called me and quit. So please I just need you for this meeting?â It was him again. âUh sir.. I donât know..â âOh come on all you need to do is take notes and listen in. Please play my assistant y/n?â He was close to begging.
âI guess I could do it sir.. Iâll need the passcode for the the 54th floor..â I was a little nervous he wouldnât give it to me, seeing only he knew it. He wouldnât even let his last assistant know it. âOh.. Itâs um.. 0509..â He mumbled.Okay, and youâll be there when I bring them up right?â âYeah bring them up when they get here, bye.â
Then he hung up. Great okay time to look like an assistant. Oh the fake glasses I keep in my purse. âPerfect.â I whispered to myself, putting them on. âShit my hair. Fuck I need something to write with.â I quickly put my hair up in a messy bun, but then quickly took it down as I looked like a full on porn star.
A hair clip? Do I have one of those here? Nope. âGuy do you have a hair clip? He has long hair, thatâs for sure. âYeah, here.â He said, tossing me one. âDonât ask why I have one here, the heat is crazy here at night.â He laughed, as I put my hair up. Just at that moment Guy told me there were men at the door. âFuck!â I said semi-loudly, quickly grabbing one of the blank daily planners we got some weird reason and a few pens. When I made it near the doors, I walked it calmly, not freaking out inside. When I opened the door I welcomed them, letting them in. âNow if youâd follow me I will show you to the elevator.â I felt so shaky. Like I was going to fall.
When the elevator door opened I stepped inside, Going to the corner by the buttons. I then proceeded to click the button that had the number 54 on it and typed the code in. 0509. Why does that sound familiar? I brushed it off and awkwardly stood with professional men in the elevator going 54 floors up.
I took a deep breath as the elevator doors opened and led them out to the hallway by the conference room, to see him standing there. Wait what do I do now? I hesitated and Looking at him for help, but he just nodded. âNow, if you will just enter and have a seat, the conference will start momentarily.â I smiled, holding the door open for the men as they walked through the door and sat down.
âYou know, I think you have them fooled, thatâs for sure.â He smirked walking close to the door, by my ear. âAnd by the way, you should start calling me by my preferred name in front of them.â He whispered lowly, handing me some papers. âHand these out to them and sit in the corner. Youâll find proper writing utensils on the corner table.â
âOf course.. Thank you..â I cleared my throat a little bit. âUh Mr. Hood.â I awkwardly said, before walking in and giving the proposals out to everyone.
This is going to be a long meeting.

Theatre/ Calum Hood FLUFF
Word count: 889 Rating: pg?? Warnings: lame fluff beware Writer: (:
âYeah Iâm here at the theatre.. Where are you guys?⌠Okay yeah I did already buy my ticket and I canât get a refund⌠Are you serious? No⌠No Iâm not mad itâs cool.. Yeah alright.. Okay bye.â I groaned, pressing end call on my screen. My four friends completely forgot to tell me they changed plans and now, wonderful Iâm standing in the movie theatre all alone.
I looked down at my ticket to see the screening I paid for. I had no idea what the movie was actually. I think I picked a horror film because of my friends, they really wanted to see it.
âFuck it. And fuck them too.â I whispered to myself, going up to the concession line. I already paid I may as well go right? I decided on some popcorn and a soft drink just because I really was in the mood for candy picking.
As I gave my ticket to the person who rips it and tells you what theatre youâre in I started to head that way. It was going to start in maybe 15 minutes so i had time to relax. As I walked in I noticed something. There was no one else in the theatre. âI guess it wouldnât be that bad if I talked to myself out loud though.â I decided to sit in the perfect spot I could find and I waited. IÂ set my popcorn on the seat beside me and my drink in the cups holder.
It wasnât until the commercials  started coming on that someone came in. It was a guy, kind of looked a little familiar but I couldnât really place the face with a name, he was wearing a hat and he took his sunglasses of. We made brief eye contact before he sat a few rows behind me.
As the trailers came on I heard him move. He came and sat beside me, setting his popcorn down and his drink. âHey.â He had an accent. âAccent.â No y/n that isnât a sentence. I quickly recovered. âYour accent- sorry I meant to say I liked it..â Oh my gosh Iâm not with it today wow.
He kind of laughed it off and said it was okay. He asked my name. âY/n. Yours?â I told him then asked him his. âMine is Calum.â He smiled and had some of his popcorn. I saw that he had chocolate. âWhy didnât I think of that?â I wondered, out loud. âWhat was that?â He asked me, turning his head towards me. âOh I was just saying that I really should have thought of that, chocolate. For the movie. Genius idea.â I shook my head but then smiled and shrugged it off. He gave a half effort laugh and the movie started playing.
About 10 minutes actually into it he offered me some chocolate. âOh, yeah thanks.â I whispered, takin a small piece. A little while later into the movie he actually put his arm around me. Like dude what the hell? We only know eachothers name and youâre pulling that?
I was about to tell him to get off but when I turned he was actually asleep. Like actually actually asleep in the seat. I started with a little giggle, which turned into a laugh you had to suppress with your hand against your mouth. I decided that if he fell asleep in the theatre then his sleep schedule must really be fucked up. After the movie ended I slowly moved his arm and got all of his stuff together so he didnât feel like he was in a rush or anything.
I gently tapped his shoulder. âUh hey Calum? Itâs time to wake up now⌠The movie is over.â I told him, giving a little force in the tap. He just kind of groaned and moved his head. This time I laughed and lightly hit his cheek, telling him that he needed to wake up. This time he did wake up, only to be completely flustered about the fact he fell asleep. Once he gathered himself and his things we left together and I offering to walk him to where he lived Incase he was too tired.
He agreed and off we went. I walked from my apartment because it wasnât far and it seemed as though he did too. When we got to his building he gave me a big smile and gave me the rest of the chocolate he didnât finish. âOh you donât have to-â âNo really I donât need it, you seem to like it so you keep it.â He reassured me it was okay that I had his chocolate that I made a total big deal out of. He gave me a hug which I found a little weird and told me we should do it again- even though we both knew very little about eachother and I said sure because clearly I was never going to get his number even if I asked for it. Once I got back home I placed my popcorn on a table.
I didnât realize how much I actually wanted the chocolate he had given me until I saw it, but I almost chocked on it once I looked at the wrapper. He actually wrote his number on a chocolate bar wrapper.
