practice.
Grimmjow smiled. “Its not what you think. Your secret is still safe. These places are not even in our universe, but in separate ones that you’ve never heard of. I’ve been exploring.” He was willing to show Aizen proof of this.
♔ -- Not of the universe? Now that was something completely out of his knowledge and comfort zone either. He was intelligent, there was no denying that. But there were some things that were impossible to know. Even that fool running the twelfth division now would have no idea about what lay past the stars...
But to appear lacking in knowledge in front of any of the Espada, especially this one, did not sit well with him.
The Captain leaned back, his hands lacing together and resting in his lap. “Explain yourself, Grimmjow. Traveling beyond the realms... Crossing borders between Soul Society, the human world and your home is difficult as enough as it is. Are you truly saying you’ve gone beyond even that?”
He supposed... if you strayed within the passage between say Hueco Mundo and the human world it would not be impossible to go somewhere else completely. This would be something he’d have to test. Who knows where one could end up.
She hesitates for a moment, not answering him immediately. He had addressed her in such an odd way … What is kido ? In all the years she had spent at Hogwarts, all those hours pouring over user manuals, encyclopedias, all those spell books … and never had she heard of ‘kido’. Was it another form of magic? But surely it would be in one book –
Unless, he’s not a wizard. Unless, he’s not affiliated with the Wizarding World. In which case, what does that leave him to be ?
Finally, and slowly, she turns around, the glare of her spell illuminating her face and the strands of red hair falling over it, and reflecting off his glasses, shielding his eyes from view. There was something … almost sinister about him. He made the hairs on the back of her neck stand on end. He’s certainly not a Death Eater, that’s for sure. He couldn’t be working with them, either … he did refer to her wand as a stick, after all.
❝ –This is not a stick. A stick cannot do what I’m doing now. What is this ‘kido’ you’re on about ? Never heard of it before in my life. ❞
♔ - Aizen adjusted his glasses just a bit, regarding the girl curiously for a moment. She had a gentle face... and interesting red hair. Much like that girl that Gin was so fond of. A curious color came with curious people or troublesome.
“You’re right. I suppose a stick can’t do what you’re doing right now. But that is because, I don’t need a stick.” It was a simple action one that all starting shinigami knew how to. To take your reitsu and condense it into a ball. The first signs that you had powers. And that is what he showed to her, it had been a while since he’d done such a basic action, the starting point to all advance kido. And with his reitsu being what it was it would be easy to make an overwhelming sphere. Who knew if she could tolerate that much power, though she was standing in front of him which was rather impressive for a mortal girl, assuming that was she is.
“This is kido,” he informed, holding out the bright orb in one hand.“in it’s most simplest form. I suppose a human would call it magic. Or... demon magic, more specifically, I do believe that’s what it would translate to humans. They are spells but not magic like one would read in a storybook. This is real, after all.”
He offered her a smile, allowing the orb to disappear before she did something incredibly foolish like touch it. “Now, do tell. That item in your hand which you’ve clarified as not a stick, despite having a stick form and structure of one. What is it? It’s an interesting trick to say the least.” There was something to it, that he could tell. It held some kind of power. As did she. But what it was exactly, he couldn’t be sure. Perhaps a Quincy... a primitive one but that’s what he was concluding. To be perfectly honest, he’d never felt something like this before.
for 5thcaptain ;
Small clouds of carbon dioxide form, fizzling away in the cold night air as she draws in another breath. It’s utterly silent out here, suspiciously so.
Initially, she does not notice the presence some way behind her, lurking, watching, as she withdraws her wand and murmurs
‘Lumos’
under her breath.
But by the time the small light illuminates from her wand’s tip, she is well aware of it. The feeling of being watched creeps up her spine like branches. Dementors ? Death Eaters ? Without turning, Lily closes her eyes, and speaks to her pursuer.
❝ Show yourself. ❞
♔ -- “That’s an interesting bit of kido... Does the stick amplify your spells?” As the man spoke he stepped into the light she was shedding upon her. He hadn’t meant to follow this young woman in particular. This whole area gave off an interesting sensation. As if his particles of kido were prickling his skin. it was so interesting and he’d very much like to obtain the source of this power. Perhaps it could help further his experiments or even enhance them.
Her light reflected off the lenses of his glasses, obscuring his eyes form his sight which suited him just fine. Though it made it difficult for him to see her clearly, the light so bright and just the silhouette of her figure behind it. It was of no great matter. She didn’t feel like a Quincy or hollow and certainly not a shinigami. She was just human with some unusual abilities. Abilities he’d like to further investigate.
“I hope I haven’t frightened you, have I?” He offered a faint smile, still a bit on the fence of which mask to use in this girl’s presence. If he wanted to find a source for this kido he’d have to play nice, for now.

“That’s because we’re the best and most interesting of all the members of the espada.”
“....”
“Hey we may still be hollow, but we got feelings and urges to. We do have our own minds. Ya expect us just to spar or idly wait and do nothing until you return?” Grimmjow kept up the ruse of pretending Aizen was not his lord just for the sheer fact he thought he could get away with it.
♔ -- He’d never really included the variable of his creations having... “needs”. Perhaps because of his companions and himself there wasn’t a desire for such things and so quite easily, that variable went unnoticed.
It wasn’t a huge error but one all the same.
“I see. Interesting. As much as I know about all of you, I continue to learn more. This piece of information I will keep in mind,” And add it to calculations going forward. He didn’t need Espada and others breeding before he got there. Although... those would be interesting specimens. Perhaps this wouldn’t be so unfortunate after all.
“Suddenly an army of Sextas... Kaname will be most distressed about this development...”
"Aizen....you look different"
“Not so different that you can’t recognize me though,” the captain offered the Espada a faint smile. “It’s just a temporary mask. It will crumble all in good time, when my need for it is through.”
