Day 4: ~An anchor ~Write status updates for the year 2024 (actually 2017 but that's passed, this book was published in 2011) So proud of our first female president! #Oprah #neveragain Okay, so who's coming to my cat's birthday party? It's gonna be the bomb.com I can't wait for the next meeting of our writing group! I'll bring chips, dip, and legal weed. 😁🍃 Don't forget: tonight's the book signing for the next installment in my "Pug and Slug" series. Pug and Slug 3: The Puggening.

Day 3: ~A string quartet - I got frustrated and made it a string duet. Drawing people is hard 🤐😫😔 ~A houseplant is dying. Tell it why it needs to live. - Please, we need you to live. Your presence brightens up any room, and you selflessly give us oxygen. You are the original solar powered dynamo. Rain or shine, you're down for anything; you'll still be there on the windowsill, showing off those fabulous leaves.

Day 2: ~What was the worst Thanksgiving dish you ever had? (I bought my book used and this is one of a handful that were filled in already.) "My worst Thanksgiving dinner never actually happened. I was staying at Fletcher Allen for a two-week-tune-up. Yes, they were serving all that meat and gravy and good...wait...why do we eat this and give thanks? To the gods? Well, I didn't eat the dinner special that night." ~ "Just regular old cranberry sauce. I hate how it slurps out of the can and leaves ridges. Eurgh. The taste isn't even that bad, but the looks and sound of it gross me out." This one was my take on the question. ~A hammock These are from last night! I wasn't really feeling either of these prompts to be honest, but there's about to be some more interesting ones!

Welcome to my blog! I have these two nifty books and I’d like to use them! So I’m going to do one writing prompt and one drawing prompt per day. I don’t have a lot of skill at either art, honestly, but the only way to become good at something is to suck a lot at that something first. Strap in, kiddos!

In the Amazon rainforest, a frog croaks while in Tibet, a Buddhist nun meditates. In New York City, someone's getting coffee and in a hospital bed somewhere, a patient lies with his chest ripped open. The doctor could use some of that coffee too]
