Flight Lieutenant Walter Dring (1916 – 13 January 1945), of No. 183 Squadron RAF, with his Hawker Typhoon Mk.Ib fighter-bomber at Gatwick Airfield. Walter Dring was killed in action near the Dutch town of Bergen-op-Zoom on 13 January 1945.
