Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart dear Laly, for everything. I haven't gotten this hyperfixated on something like I did with Shift 3 in ages. It exceeded all my expectations, and you literally outdid yourself! It’s perfect in every single way—the writing, the characters, the vibe, the storyline, the lore, the art, and everything! I thoroughly enjoyed exploring every little detail, and the most fun part was figuring it out on my own without a guide; it was a priceless experience ₍₍⚞(˶ˆᗜˆ˵)⚟⁾⁾

Oh God, I don't even have the words to express it. The only certain thing is that joining this fandom was one of the best decisions of my life. Best fandom, for the goat game, by the best dev. I genuinely love how quickly he switches from sounding worried to being all ‘idgaf anyway, just don’t make a mess for me 🙄’ and then backtracking when MC calls him out 😭 like babe we know you’re worried—no need to backtrack by acting like a jerk.

I do love this bathroom segment though because he is genuinely concerned and wants to help MC figure out why she has hemophobia, why she has a chunk of her memory missing and how both are connected (AND we got new information too through him! regarding how MC was okay during halloween so whatever happened has to have happened in the last 2 weeks). and now he’s even put it in MC’s head that this sudden memory loss isn’t normal (so I feel like she’s going to be less avoidant about addressing this issue of hers?) wish he could be all interested in getting MC’s help with his problems too (but shift 3 did cover a lot of his issues as well—just having them all out now is laying grounds to having them addressed/solved in the future updates ✨) I’m really looking forward to his route in the future updates because his gradual development between shift 2 and 3 has been amazing so far ❤️ laly is genuinely an amazing writer.

i love lane so so much 😭 why does he have to be so stupid funny? it’s one thing when it’s on purpose but he’s also unintentionally funny 😔 the beginning of the first scene felt like an early episode of a shoujo anime (for a few good seconds) before he ruined it by opening his mouth lol.

I'm so fond of him even though he makes me want to quit the job—MC doesn't get paid enough to handle his jack (but he's the reason why the shifts are so entertaining). I originally started this vn for bb and now I have to force myself NOT to pick the choices that lead to lane's route. like geez what drug did laly put in him 😭 also i can't get over the fact that his first response to being punched was reassuring MC and helping her calm down—like okay, that's not very asshole-like of you mr lane, it's starting to look like you actually care about MC hmm. (also—i really need to shut up about him—but I love love love how realistically he's written. he doesn't feel like a character to me AT ALL. someone needs to sedate me asap, I can't get him out of my mind 😭)
