DISTINGUISHED FEATURES. mullet haircut, a variety of piercings including earlobe, ear, a nose ring, a lip ring and a belly button piercing. tall, and lanky most of the times they are curved in on themselves appearing not as tall. chipped nail polish with smokey eye shadow but minimal make up. a grunge type of fashion sense, their hair seems crispy from constant dye and bleach jobs. ALIAS. random. ABILITIES. they are capable of utilizing any power in existence with the caviat that there is no pattern (at least to them) of which power they will be able to use at the moment. BACKGROUND. rex comes from a middle class family, their dad works in construction and their mom is a stay at home mom. after the initial discovery of their powers they have become estranged. they only have contact with their older brother.

bio.

rex was born regina guy to a mother and a father who already had one kid, they were sort of a surprise pregnancy, and ever since they had memory life in their home was very unstable. their mother did tried to raise them properly, she was just overwhelmed, it is safe to say that most of the raising and protecting was done by their older brother ryan. rex struggled in school, they were good at it academically, just lacked a lot in the emotionally ability department. it almost felt as if the other kids knew something was wrong even before rex did. after sometime, they figured out that they were very much not like other kids. rex dropped his name and started going by the nickname their sibling had bestowed upon them since young. and she thought that partially would fix things, all until one faithful day. ryan had moved out, gone to college and left rex behind, meaning that their father targeted him. it put him on the spot and one day before their 16th birthday after a long fight with his dad and no answer from their brother, it put so much stress on rex that their mutant powers presented themselves. it started with controlling waterwhich ended with the bursting of the pipes, before their touch snapped the sink out of place, before he exploded the room and within a blink of an eye, they found themselves destroying part of their childhood home. it ended with him being kicked out of their place. with no where to go, they started living in their car. rex kept going to school, until rumors and the threat of harm loomed over them. made him runaway from his hometown, moving place to place, taking odd jobs to just exist. their little accident is big enough to make the news.

important to note. i am not super intricately familiar with all the xmen lore, that is i haven't read many comics, i have seen the movies. however i am also very open to interacting with all sorts of portrayals and my askbox is open to any questions or suggestions for rex. i am developing them as i go. rules last updated (08/08/2024).

one. i am selective and private meaning that i will only interact with mutuals. this blog is also meant to be a plot centered blog, i run other blogs alongside this one and to keep my motivation up we must have some basis of a discussion ooc to know where we want to take a dynamic.

two. rex is a nonbinary, they use all pronouns but mainly they/them. you are free to alternate pronouns for them as you see fit, however they are not a woman. i am asking now that you respect their gender and gender presentation.

three. i ship chemistry, meaning that after a couple of interactions or ooc discussion if we both muns feel like the possibility of a romantic dynamic could occur then we can go for it. i love shipping but i do not want it to feel forced.

four. this blog will feature triggering content at times. given how rex is based on general xmen universe lore, any triggers that apply to said material may ocassionally be present. in their backstory moments of transphobia may be present but it is not something i would like to actually rp. i will tag triggers as cw trigger.

five. i am 21+ and i do not rp with minors, if you are a minor dni with this blog. smut is unlikely to happen in this blog.

six. if you character has committed r*ape do not follow me this is a big trigger of mine. i will hardblock as i see fit.

seven. i will not tolerate untagged drama and call out posts. i understand sometimes these are made with the safety of the rp community at times but i much rather be approached by asks or dms if i am interacting with someone who is an active thread to other's wellbeing.
