every single second

Make the most of opportunities

To often we work with fury

to arrive where we think we should be

Everything is hurry hurry hurry!

Yet we are just missing

Amazing moments, people, things

That already within our reach

So much movement

We can’t simply sit

and love and be loved on

by friends, family, our God & KING

Yes be in preparation

for where we are called to be

But enjoy the little things

Live life daily abundantly

Know most of our life

is spent on the journey

Waiting for the next “big” thing

Don’t spend all your time

Taking pictures for a memory

That you forget to live today

Don’t wait til the end to realize

How much you missed along the way

Love people through

What kind of world would we live in If when we saw people we would see Him The very image of the One we were created in And not define all by their need Their struggle their weakness Or the sin they may be committing Maybe then we could love people through whatever situation they may be in What if we remembered that we love on God as we love on them Maybe then even to strangers we would be more welcoming For He once said what to them we are doing we do unto Him Maybe then we would love people through Not give up on them because of what they do or don't do But love them regardless As Jesus has taught us to Love them through the insecurities illnesses, mistakes, and attitudes Love them through the disagreements Love them when we don’t like them and even when they are hating He taught us how with Peter and Judas Love to the end even if some may betray or reject us trusting God has the final word in every situation That He is looking out for me as I love on His creation What would happen if we saw His image in every expression would we be moved by true compassion to do more than change a profile picture Would we be more willing to help our neighbor Not just post about love but show it in our action I think it's time to step outside of this world's distorted worldview where it's more about you and me individually Than what His Word has called us to For their is a lot that love always does That we are not even sometimes doing
