He died next to his friend, his geopolitical ally, the monster that everyone in the North once loathed. Where everyone saw violence, Juan saw a lonely boy. The boy that fought for peace and a forbidden friendship that grew stronger than any conflict and resentment. The boy that once thought that hope and empathy were weaknesses but ended up caring deeply for everyone on the island.
