This is a good basis for a boho/hippie 70s-style flowy dress. I would make it longer and use a bold patterned fabric, but otherwise it looks good to go! Using a contrasting fabric for the belt thing could look really good too.

Hello and happy new year friends :) hope you all had a nice rest over the holidays- I did, and finished off this skirt flip I've had in progress for ages!

🕸Thrifted linen skirt, linen scraps, deadstock eyelet lace, made up into a milkmaid style dress with a ruffled bust. Self draft pattern.

🕸Styled with : new look blouse, monsoon velvet jacket and vintage purse, office boots, silver bangle and onyx ring, all items thrifted! Except my silver dragonfly from Accessorize, which is a very old and loved gift :)

🌻Hello friends, this experimental dress was meant to be deep green, but turned out a more fresh leaf colour 🍀 I used Dylon machine dye but unfortunately got a rather patchy finish it looked like certain parts of the dye mix failed to dissolve :(

Welp, I'm attached to her now so patchy she must stay :")

🌻Thrifted linen with Dylon dye, self draft armhole princess seam and 6 gore skirt with long cuffs and bishop sleeves.

Styled with thrifted items: straw hat, tan brogues, needlepoint purse.
