If you haven't noticed, or if it's not obvious enough, I haven't been posting any football content for over a week. I honestly cant do it anymore, I can no longer run this blog knowing there's a genocide happening. I can no longer enjoy football when the club I once supported sides with the oppressor. When many football clubs and the sport's institution side with the oppressor
I know how the world works for a very long time but turns out the reality is much MUCH more evil. My heart is heavy, Palestine is very dear to me. It's not only a fight for liberation, it's also a symbol of decolonisation, especially for us in the global south. I even feel guilty typing this in the comfort of my own home. Roof over my head, nicely air-conditioned room, food in my fridge, running water in my taps; when in Palestine people are being bombed to death, children are being bombed to death. Meanwhile the survivors are currently digging the bodies and body parts of their children and their loved ones from under the rubble while having no food, no electricity nor running water
It's been a pleasure knowing and interacting with all of you here but from now on this won't be a football blog anymore. I still dont know what I'm gonna do with it but for now I'm gonna be posting Palestine updates. If that's not what you're here for, feel free to unfollow me
Will answer some of the football asks I got from the past week later but that would be the last of it
