Still in shock after Friday nights SPD awards and Eight By Eight winning the Ballon d’Or itself the 'Magazine of the Year’. My weekend felt like a rerun of the days after Liverpool beat Milan in the Champions League final. Did that really happen? Oh no it didn’t!!! Oh yes it did!!!

Thrilled to have been on the terraces to see the gaffers Priest & Grace lift the trophy. A massive moment for the whole squad. I will be forever grateful to be able to play with such a talented team and to contribute to “the magazine the beautiful game deserves…”

In the words of the great Pele “Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing…”

When Football Meets High-End Fashion 

Federico Maccapani, an Italian graphic designer based in Sydney, has produced a stunning series of concept kits. The various kits pair top European clubs with a who’s who of high-end fashion brands including Alexander Mcqueen, Givenchy, Missoni, and Raf Simons.   While it’s not the first time we’ve seen this concept, it has to be said that these really do stand out. Makes you wonder, doesn’t it?
