A Terf is a trans exclusionary Radical Feminist. Most of the people you are yelling “terf” at don’t really know much about radical feminism. I am critical of the idea of brain gender. I am a woman because I was born a human female. I am not a woman because of things I like or dislike. In fact, I often dislike being a woman and being treated as a woman. (That doesn’t make me Not a woman, tho.)

I find myself disagreeing with more and more of the TRAs perspectives and I’m reading more (radical) feminist perspectives and like.... my friends are liberal. I would be cast out and cancelled for even bringing this stuff up for discussion. But like. It’s fucked up. You can have your account on Twitter or Facebook cancelled just for saying biological facts about your own body.

No one can talk about nuance and the things they do and don’t disagree with because you either 100% agree with TRAs or you’re a terf and deserve to be raped, punched and killed. Where is the space for women who aren’t monsters and really just want a word left to describe themselves that they don’t have to share with people who aren’t women?

I am really thankful that I wasn’t sent to therapy as a young GNC child and told to put my body on hormones and undergo surgery so I would “feel better”. I am thankful I realized that being GNC was something that stemmed from the prison of femininity and that gender and gender roles are both inherently fake and serve to hurt women more than anything else.

I am very thankful I don’t have to go through the process of destransitioning.

I’m so fucking angry right now. I’m angry that women are being beaten up for their views and people are celebrating it. I’m angry that males are being prioritized over females in modern liberal feminism. I’m angry that males are being allowed to define the female experience. I’m angry that women who believe in sex based oppression are being no platformed and have to make anonymous blogs to share their beliefs in order to keep themselves safe.
