This is Ys fan art that was drawn by “ME-CHAN” and published in several issues of the Technopolis magazine in the late 80s and early 90s. ME-CHAN’s real name is Minako Iwasaki, an illustrator that would later join Falcom in 1993 where she created art for Ys V, Ys Eternal and The Legend of Heroes III among many other Falcom games. She is also famous for doing the character designs for the Rune Factory series.
You can see more of Minako Iwasaki’s Ys fan art here as well as a list of all the magazine issues that published her art.
