One day, she received a warm can of hot chocolate from the girl. Since Lara felt her heart melt the first time she tasted that sweetness, later, she also gave a piping hot can of hot chocolate to the girl.

This was published before any batgirl, Bette or Babs. Kara was offered Batgirl before anyone else could grab it. Bette Kane debuted as Bat-Girl in July 1961 and Barbara Gordon debuted in January 1967.

Kara Zor-El is the first batgirl in some weird timeline. You can’t change my mind.
