You know even if Oikawa didn't have a rivalry with Ushijima and Iwaizumi wasn't a factor...I still don't think Oikawa would have chosen Shiratorizawa.

Oikawa wants to be the best, this is true, he has an ego and a superiority complex but he needs a team! Look at how Seijoh play compared to Shiratorizawa, Seijoh is a team where Oikawa does his best to bring out his teams best, Shiratorizawa is almost the exact opposite, the team does their best to bring out Ushijimas best and while there's nothing wrong with that, this method brings forth some strong competition (Nekoma for example) it is not the kind of team that Oikawa would thrive in.

The team with the strongest 6 wins, which isn't all that different from Washijō's opinion, the difference? Oikawa took this advice and worked and continues to work his ass off to be a captain and setter that brings out the best and strongest of his team, in fact he doesn't seem to really care if his teammates are considered 'strong' or not, he learns how they play and he does his part to work with them, to use their strengths. Washijō sees the player who's strong, Oikawa sees the strength in the player.

Oikawa wouldn't do well in Shiratorizawa no matter whether he was the star player or not. if he was the star player I don't think he wouldn't thrive in a team where he was coddled by the others, he's cunning and intelligent and would need to use and show that. If he wasn't? Well his ego simply couldn't allow that lmao, plain and simple

i need fandom to understand that “abusive parents are pure distilled evil in human form and they cannot experience emotions or love their children or ever be kind” is not the radical take they think it is. in fact it is actually one of the worst beliefs you can push if your goal is to help abuse victims. sometimes a story showing an abusive character being kind or tender or sweet to their victim isn’t the writer trying to justify their abuse but is in fact just them writing an Actually Realistic Depiction of Abuse

Sometimes the abusive parent(s) is(are) completely aware they are doing evil things, so they soothe their own guilt with surprise trips to disney land! Or surprise ice cream and candy for dinner! It's not a sign they are a good parent or good person, even if neighbors and outside family members believe it is 🙄 It just means their conscience got through to them for fifteen seconds and they are tricking themselves into believing they're a good parent.

I've finally finished the second episode. I didn't touch it at all when it was released because I was very disappointed with the first episode. But I think episode 2 is better. Some parts I didn't like but overall my experience with it is more enjoyable than episode 1.

I probably will not play season 3 soon until I get enough diamonds first. I didn't really care for the photos or the romance branch but I really want to read all secret messages.

If I remember correctly one secret messages is 20 diamonds and there's 3-4 secret messages one episode so at least i need 80—maybe 100 just to be safe.
