Finding happiness and a sense of peace in a relationship, after being in a bunch of toxic ones, is terrifying. Because it's such an odd feeling. It's so surreal to be able to feel like an equal, feel love and feel like you don't have to be on edge all the time. I'm reminding myself to enjoy and be happy because I deserve it.
