There was no mistaking his intent— a statement, plain and simple. Lu Guang wouldn’t compliment the other only to silence him. He wouln't shy away from the truth ( that clothes didn’t add or take from Cheng Xiaoshi’s innate charm ) and play along with his overdramatic act only to avoid feeding his ego. Despite that, he should have known better than to speak on impulse, chosen his words a bit more carefully, but there was no turning back time– not for an occasion like this.

Cheng Xiaoshi’s charm radiated from within, not by his appearance alone. There was charm even to this childish act. Even to his persistence, of calling his name over and over again, trying to get any kind of reaction out of him, despite knowing well it was pointless to challenge him, to ask him to repeat himself. He was no idiot, not really, not for acting out of instinct, for letting his heart take the lead— seeking far more than just attention and compliments, knowing the right way to get what he wanted. He couldn’t get on Lu Guang’s nerves, not really. Who would blame the sun for shining too brightly?

The most despised kind of all angels— it's in his nature, to take the lives of those meant to die, else they'd wonder endlessly the world of living. It's his job to reap, to convince, or to force the ones close to death to follow him. He was human once. He has no memory of who he once was. No recollection of a name, or loved ones. Until, in his path appear a familiar face. He doesn't remember. They seem to recognize him. His name was Levi.
