I was drunk when we fucked.Â
Would you consider that rape? If so I’m really sorry.
Weren’t we both drinking that night?
Probably, either way, it was fun.

Do you flirt with everyone?
Anything that moves baby.
Has that ever backfired on you?
Usually no, didn’t with you.
Ever done it with a woman?
Several. Internalized homophobia gets to ya, man, each time I think I’ll like it an’ then I end up jus’ feelin’ real weird an’ squeamish.
I’m sure that we could fix that together honey.
...that’s a bold ass thing t’say. I’m taken an’ my sexuality ain’t fluid like that.
Well everything’s subject to change. If you ever want some fun just call me. Names Blue Blossom.

“I like the kind of person who will binge watch The Great British Baking Show and BA Test Kitchen with me and then shamelessly binge eat our biggest craving from them afterwards.” She chuckled, only half-joking. This date wasn’t going as bad as she’d thought it would. Mostly on her part. She was always so scared of embarrassing herself. “Is there anything you like to watch nowadays?”
She smiled wider at the woman’s intuitiveness and business skill. “That’s quite impressive I imagine that’s extremely difficult. But it makes the victories that much sweeter.” She hummed, her sentence taking on an almost hidden meaning. This was going considerably well compared to other dates she’d had. “Do you have a hand in each design?”
“My partner and I are both lead designers, though our areas of expertise differ. I specialize in fire arms and explosives while he focuses more on bladed weapons and tools.” She said taking another sip of her drink. “Though we’re both very hands on workers who stick to our trade. Forging things out by hand is very therapeutic for us.”

Belle pulled back. A little too strong on the approach now. She chuckled and moved her leg away slowly. She wasn’t too sexual with someone until she was completely comfortable and this was just the first date. She didn’t want to hurt their feelings and instead reached for their hand. “That’s such an interesting way of looking at it. I never really... thought of it that way. I mean, you’re right. Otherwise Georgia O’Keefe wouldn’t have been as successful.” She joked. “Tell me about what you do for a living.” She smiled warmly.
She realized her being too forward and pulled back. It was hard for her sometimes to hold back, but Belle clearly took things at a slowly pace and she needed to adjust and change the subject. “Yes, so I run a manufacturing company, specializing in weapons and tactical gear.” She says crossing her legs and then gently taking Belle’s hands. “Me and my business practically built it from the ground.”

She smiled warmly, “It’s okay you didn’t know!” She hummed and looked across the table at her with unwaveringly kind eyes. “I could say the technical name but it’s easier to say I love roses that look like sunsets.” She said softly. “They’re so beautiful.”
“I like any flowers with shades of blue, tulips and roses are especially beautiful to me.” She says with her head down but her eyes on her date, she move her leg so that it was rubbing against Bella’s under the table. “I love roses cause they remind me of... female anatomy.”

“Oh i don’t think i could ever be that again.” She laughed. “Once again, that’s a demanding job. And you don’t get that freedom you want sometimes.” She thought carefully as she spoke, trying to find the right words to describe it. “You cook for someone else’s palate all the time. You cook for their dinner parties where they make terrible menu choices, incredibly picky clientele who... throw plates.” Her eyes went distant, the memory crossing her face for a moment, “But i like working in the flower shop. It’s very zen usually.”
“Well I’m sorry for bringing it up...” she looked away, a little ashamed for making her date feel that way. “So, what’s your favorite kind of flower?”
She chuckled, her cheeks growing slightly in color. “That’s too kind of you to say.” She smiled and looked into her drink glass. How on Earth was she getting sucked in like this? She’d never become so smitten so quickly. “It’s still just something on the side. Something to fill my time between shifts at the florist’s shop.”
“Wouldn’t hurt to make it a full time endeavor, if you got the right gig that is. One where the money is good.” She said stirring her glass.
She shook her head, her smile falling. “I tried it once. Almost knocked my love of cooking right out.” She chuckled, “I prefer to cook for people who appreciate my time and effort into the dish. If i spent 12 hours smoking those ribs, it’s for that one person. And they know that. And they’re usually pretty pleased.” She chuckled. “And even though i do want to isolate when i retire i love hosting dinner parties and stupid stuff like that. I know... It sounds so 50’s housewife, but i really do.”
“Well, the opportunity to become someone’s personal chef could arise some day. But that person would need to be someone special right?”

“Mmmm, history Channel, and anything with guns mainly. Oh but I do like bingeing some baking competitions.”
She smiled, “You know i am rather fascinated in general with various things and how they’re assembled. That’s why I watch How It’s Made.” She chuckled softly tilting her head, “Well at least i try. Sometimes i fall asleep until my cat is standing on my chest meowing at me.”
“Yeah, I do the same watching baking championships. I don’t have any pets that cuddle me though...” she said looking down for a moment then back up. “So, you have just one cat?”
“For now.” She looked out at the restaurant, “Sometimes i dream of living in the middle of the woods and mountains with tons of animals. Practically a farm without the mass crop growing. And i’d just sit there and keep my house maintained and all the animals would be happy and I’d drive 3 hours into town to pick up my groceries from Walmart, put it into special coolers and drive three hours back.” She shook her head. “But the money to save for that takes forever.” She smiled across the table at her, a gentle smile. “And i’d have to have a partner who would want that too.” She shrugged. “But that’s not everyone’s dream is it?” She hummed.
“I could see a farm in my future...” she looked out as well,”With horses and a shed where I can forge them shoes and tools I need or sell. Maybe a few of every farm animal so I can just live off them.” She looked back into her dates eyes,”and a partner to hold close and keep warm in the winter.”
Her head tilted slightly, “Mmm I knew you you were dangerous.” She chuckled with a grin. “You know just what to say to make a girl melt, I’m sure.” She hummed as another basked of bread was placed on the table. “But on the off-chance... maybe next time we could go on a walk and we could have a picnic.” She smiled. “I love to cook for people.”
“I’ve heard you’re an amazing chef. Probably even more so with the proper love and care put into it.” She said sipping her drink, now giving Bella a seductive look.
