TRIGGER WARNING SA RAPE.
Here's a couple questions for everyone.
Women: do you remember the first time you were told you were sexually assaulted? Not the first time it happened, but the first time you were told. Maybe you were sharing a story with your mate about a sexual encounter that was uncomfortable or awkward, maybe you were laughing the whole situation off. Maybe when they responded with "you were assaulted/raped" you looked back at previous encounters with men and realised fuck, that wasn't the first time.
Men: do you remember the first time you followed a woman to a secluded area, probably at a party or a pub? And she giggled and pushed gently against your chest and said she had to go back to her friends/go home/go to sleep, and you kept touching her, kissing her neck, pushing your hands under her clothes. And she kept giggling and coming up with excuses to leave but you knew if you pushed enough she'd give in?
Women: do you remember the first time you gave a handjob or a blowjob because you just wanted him to leave you alone? And you figured the best way to get him to go was to get him off, and at least he wasn't raping you?
Men: do you remember the first time you had a woman by herself and you were "sweet talking" her into staying with you, and you spit on your hand to rub her vagina because even then you knew, she wasn't into it and she wouldn't be wet.
Women: do you remember the first time you had the courage to say NO, it probably was with someone you were comfortable with, someone you thought was a friend. Maybe they didn't listen.
Men: do you remember the first time someone said NO but you kept going because you knew they wouldn't fight?
