She would have died had I not done what I did. Broken hearts… they are ultimately survivable.

It had been five nights in a row that Belle would cry herself to sleep and wake up from nightmares of Rumple's death. Each night she'd wake up and check the other side of the bed, as if for one moment she forget it was true. Then seeing his side of their bed empty, it came crashing down on her like a giant wave. It wasn't just a nightmare, it was a harsh and cruel reality. Rumple was gone, and he wasn't coming home. Not this time, or ever again. The idea of hope was long lost.
