That finale, huh? Felt a lot of emotions from The Last Act and made this cathartic imagery to process some of it despite loving how it ended.

You go to your closet and you select out, oh I don’t know, that gaslight gatekeep girlboss meme, for instance, because you’re trying to tell the world that you think modern feminism has been co-opted by corporations. But what you don’t know is that that meme is not from Instagram, it's not from Twitter, it's not from Tiktok, it’s actually from Tumblr. You’re also blithely unaware of the fact that in January 2021, Tumblr user missnumber1111 posted, "today's agenda: gaslight gatekeep and most importantly girlboss." And then I think it was a-m-e-t-h-y-s-t-r-o-s-e, wasn’t it, who reblogged it with an image of the phrase edited over a piece of "Live, Laugh, Love" wall art? And then gaslight gatekeep girlboss showed up in the feeds of eight different Twitter repost accounts. Then it filtered down through Instagram and then trickled on down into some tragic “alt side of Tiktok” where you, no doubt, fished it out of some clearance bin. However, that meme represents millions of notes and countless Tumblr users and so it’s sort of comical how you think that you’ve made a choice that exempts you from Tumblr when, in fact, you’re wearing the meme that was selected for you by the people in this room. From a pile of “stuff.”

I needed to get to a saving point in In Stars and Time because it’s late and I’m tired but not losing this progress I made. Got to a snack time and chose pineapple, which did unintentionally in fact fulfill my wish of getting to a save point ASAP.

Loop mentioned the fact about being allergic to pineapple and in the moment I went “odd detail to bring up but okay I guess” and then immediately dropped that piece of info in the brain trash bin. And there was no better way to experience the death by pineapple moment than to be blindsided by it.

the spines on her back are part of a curse-transformation that manifests whenever she uses her magic. her supernatural abilities were thrust upon her by an uknown deity (against her will). the more she uses her magic, the faster her "affliction" takes hold: she is transforming into a fish/deep sea creature. it's like a disease. her body succumbs to the infection while her mind remains awake, aware of every change and mutation, yet ultimately unable to stop the process. she's a witness to her own transmutation.

There are many people who don’t share this sentiment, but I have an appreciation for when a fanfic is so separated from canon that it could’ve easily been its own original novel, and yet the author was only ever going to put that much energy into it if their favourite characters got to be there
