" I'd rather some of them to be silent, honestly "

     ”I’d like to know— if you don’t me asking— how did you find yourself here? I don’t understand why anyone would want to live on their own in the middle of a forest?”

{She studied him quietly, wondering if he would run off to his prince and send a hunting party after her if she told him. It wouldn't be a surprise, of course he would if he knew what beast she was}

              " As I told you, I'm cursed. It's to protect others around me "

"Well i’m glad someone else agrees with me."

"If the lake is as treacherous as you’ve warned, you must be incredibly brave, not to mention quite capable, to have kept yourself out of harms way for so long."

[ Good. He had her trust. All that was left now was to get her out of this cage ]

 ”Hold on.”

    [ His hands reached out for the padlock, wrapping themselves around the cold metal as he murmured, ]

"Onlúcan"

[ The cage’s door immediately swung upon and without further delay, Merlin reached in, gently taking the girl’s hands into his as he uttered the spell once again ]

"Onlúcan"

[ As soon as the chains fell to the ground with a soft clatter, he glanced up, flashing a small smile her way ]

      “—Right, let’s get you out of here. Follow me, and not a word.”

{She held her wrists, rubbing them as she nodded, slipping out of the cage}

                                " Thank you " {It was all she dared say for the moment}

               sorry I haven't been on, but there was a huge thing with auditions for the school (more like an academy) that I wanted to go to, and everything was hetic. but why did i get a follower i was gone

"It means that knights can be more stuck up then people believe them to be."

  " How so? “

"There was a knight visiting from a neighboring kingdom and well… I’m glad he’s gone to say the least."

                      " They're beasts, some of them. Egotistical and all that "

The latter of the girls response rang in her head —

                    “Among other reasons.”

She was keeping something. Morgana was positive of it, though she chose not to press the matter, knowing that she would never get the response she sought if she had. “Have you lived here long?”

     " I've lived here for nearly a year, I believe "

     ”Thank you— I take great pleasure in being strange.

     " I have food at my hut, if you would like to eat "

     ”I’ve been asking myself the same question for years!”

 {She laughed, a full laugh for the first time in awhile}

           " You're very strange, Merlin "

     ”I— It’s a long story actually, but I’m a manservant for the prince. It’s not a fancy job— and I don’t enjoy being bossed around, but it was a reward for saving his life, so I guess I should be thankful.”

    " Your reward for saving his life is serving him? "

   " I'm not sure whether or not to laugh "

     ”Oh no— it’s my pleasure.” 

                  “Serving is what I know how to do.”

 " Sounds interesting "

          " Speaking of which, what do you do at your castle? "

     ”I already am a danger to myself— I’m reminded of that every day— you have nothing to fear for my sake.”

    "  You'd be surprised "

              " Thank you, Merlin "

     ”Then I will stay here. I’ll go to the castle and bring you something to eat, a blanket to keep you warm, supplies to start a fire— I’ll do whatever I can. If you wish not travel to the castle, then you don’t have to, I won’t force you.”

  {She opened her mouth to protest, but found that she couldn't}

     " Alright "

              " Just know that staying here will be a danger to you as well, Merlin "
