Hi, I was just wondering if you knew exactly how to wish on that shooting star post? I think I'm doing it wrong because no matter what I wish for (all of which are 100% possible), it never comes true. When you wish on the post, what do you do exactly because I don't understand the instructions. I'm sorry if this is a really dumb question, I just want to know.
That’s a very reasonable question! Just think about something you want, feel the way you would if you had it, and then let it go. That shooting star post is just another tool to use. Writing it down is another tool. The reason why things sometimes take longer to come true for us is because we don’t truly let them go. For instance, I really wanted chocolate one day and just accepted that I won’t get it that day but maybe the next day. Then someone brought it without me saying anything. This was not the first time. I wanted something else, forgot about it and it arrived. It’s a paradox. The more we really want something and cling on to the idea of it, the longer it takes to arrive. As soon as we either accept that we are fine without it and let go, or find something really fun to do and forget about it, it arrives.
I find it really irritating at times because when you want something a lot, it’s not that easy to let it go. The way it’s always been for me is that I’d have to wait until I naturally let it go without even noticing. If anyone here has any tips on how to consciously let something go, please message me.
