2025-2027 Writing Announcement & Fanfiction Roster

Alright folks. Until this time in two to four years, I'll focus much of my creative energy and effort on the development, production (writing and revision), and publishing of a number of fanfictions. At the moment, I have a short roster of fanfictions I plan to work on during the aforementioned period. This roster—as it stands at time of writing, (03/10/'25)—is listed below. I will post the stories listed in it to my Ao3 account. The roster is subject to change, though I am more apt to add to it than to subtract from it.

After my collaborators and I have achieved this endeavor, I plan to take an extended hiatus from writing fanfiction. That way I can focus on stuff I own, and that I have the potential—small as it is—to profit off of. Though, that is a secondary concern. I am a decent writer, but marketing/publishing can make or break a book. Regardless of quality.

At the time of writing, I have two possible collaborators. I have a semblance of a planned 'fic with each of them. One of these collaborations is a sure thing, while the other is far more tentative. Also, just to clarify, I am probably not going to write only fanfiction during this period; Fanfic is going to be my focus, is all. I may write a few short stories and or some microfiction. As a palate cleanser.

I may or may not publish or write the roster's content in its current (03/10/2025) order. [Patterns] is going to be a short (like 3 chapters max) Minecraft fic about the importance of taking a break once in a while. A series of glitches and crashes in my main survival mode world inspired me to begin its development. Dancing in Nightfall is going to be a novella-length Warriors fic about a young medicine cat and a young dark forest warrior bonding and helping each other, keeping up appearances all the while to the afterlives to which they are beholden.

My collaborator and I are still ironing out the details of the story we're going to create together. We plan for it to be about 19k words long. The last idea that my co-author and I discussed was to have our colab be a Warriors/Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood crossover fic featuring some isekai-esque reincarnation... stuff. Idk.

[Fang Gulch Chronicles] is going to be a long (100 chapter/~175–230k word) Red Versus Blue/Chima crossover ‘fic. As a parody of the Blood Gulch Chronicles arc of Red Versus Blue, it'll center around the misadventures of a squad each of varyingly inept lion and wolf soldiers.

Okay. Things have been hectic recently, and I have not written much. I will have to extend this period, especially since I have added a couple stories to the roster. I do not know by how much I will need to extend this writing period. in addition, I've contemplated the length of my hiatus; perhaps instead of returning after a certain passage of time, I could return after attaining a number of personal goals.

One of my collaborations fell through, so that frees up a spot on the roster. Roster update, and release of "Patterns" to come in the coming couple of weeks.

“Patterns” is complete.

"[Amethyst Sky]” will be a stream-of-consciousness retelling of the Legends of Chima episode, “Hundred Year Moon”.

“[Beginning]” will be a retelling of some sort in alliterative verse.

“[Five of Spades]” is a reworking of “Jaggedshadow’s Vengeance".

My remaining collboration, “[In New Forms, In a New Place]” will be a Warriors x Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood crossover Isekai fic. I’m thinking ~40k words.

I have recalculated the word count for “[Fang Gulch Chronicles]”. The plan for that story is for the chapter length and chapter count to mirror those of the “Blood Gulch Chronicles”. Those run on average five minutes, and there are a hundred of them. The average reading speed for fiction is 250—260 words per minute. Thus, each chapter of the “Fang Gulch Chronicles" will be 1.3k words long. 5 x 260 = 1,300. Times that by a hundred, and the total word count should come to ~130k words. I do plan on writing a flash/microfiction story (~350—500 words) in German this year, but I have not yet decided whether that will be a fanfic or not.

My chima LGBT Head canons list

Since it's pride month I thought of doing something like this for fun. Plus I saw some other people doing something similar to this and wanted to try this.

Now a quick note is these are just made for fun and not to be taken seriously. Also I was going to release this post a while ago eariler this month but I got kinda lazy. So I decided to post it on the last day of pride month which is today.

Here's my HC list for some of the chima characters.

I HC Laval as bi tbh. To me this is how I see laval tbh.

Plovar to me is gay. With the way he talks sometimes he lowkey sounds like it.

I see Windra as either Lesbian or Aromantic. I think either one of these could work out. Also I HC Crooler as Lesbian as well shout out to crooler x windra tho. And also Windra is totally the local evil Lesbian in chima.

Cragger to me is definitely gay. Bro is not normal with Laval. Especially that one scene from the last episode of S1.

Eris and Li'ella to me feel like they would either be bi or lesbians. To me these both kinda work either way. And also shout out to Li'eris cuz that ship is also good.

Worriz to me is definitely gay or bi. It doesn't really help the fact bro thinks the lions are delicious.

I HC Razar as like Aromantic. To me he feels like someone who wouldn't have that much interest in being in a romantic relationship with someone. But he has the next best thing which is money. I also did see a HC of Razar as Non binary which reminds me of peng from monkie kid who is also non binary

I HC both Wilhurt and Winzar as either Aromantic or gay. This was something I think kinda fits these two.

But that is my chima lgbt list. There's tons of other chima characters I did want to put on this list but I either didn't know what to HC them as or just forgot what some flags were. But I'll probably update this list maybe later down the line.
