Busy rushing around town, Gaster hadn’t been looking where he was walking. In fact, it seemed as though his attention was always taken by that logbook he was constantly scribbling in. Now it seemed he was doing it more so than ever before, what with the recent turn of events.
Sure enough he’s quick to collide with someone, though not slowing his pace, merely looking up to offer an apology before continuing on.
At least, that’s what normally would have happened.
Gaster gets a few steps further before something plays at the back of his mind… Were they…? The scientist turns swiftly on the spot to confirm his suspicions.
“ …Human? ”
With only the lack of respect for personal boundaries as a scientist could muster, his bony fingers prod at the other.
*Distinctly fleshy*
Another hand grabs at the locks of hair, lifting them and letting them drop. It had been considerable time since last he’d seen one of these… Weren’t they all gone?
“ You are a human. ”
Kris barely mumbles an apology themselves, not... all too good at looking where they’re going either. The hair probably doesn’t help with that. At all.
They had planned to keep going, but... Hm. Turning, Kris finds themselves being prodded. This isn’t entirely unusual, considering a lot of the monsters here seem to like poking Kris, but this seems... different.
And now their hair is being messed with.
This guy is really fascinated by Kris’ general existence.
“... I am, yeah.” It’s a simple answer, but nobody’s really questioned it before. Sure, monsters pointed it out a lot, and some even called Kris ‘human’ despite knowing their name, but this monster is acting like he’s never seen a human before.
“I live here. Are you new around town, or..?”
