I'm gonna be honest, I've never understood when people say that Blake should've helped more (ie Ethan, Josiah etc). Because like. What is he going to do. The man hardly is able to defend himself let alone fight Marta off of Ethan, or what, go in with his bare fists to take down papa knoth and all his disciples?

I think his response being what it was is realistic in that he's fucking scared and also unable to actually do Jack Shit. He would've died, and he knows that. Marta has a giant pickaxe that she knows how to use, Blake had a head injury and a camera. So I don't think it's fair to be like "he's a bad person and a coward because he didn't help anyone but himself 😡" like please. Take two seconds to consider the position he was in and know he did the best he could.
