My right radius & ulna are severely fractured at my wrist.

The doctors say I need surgery & around 6 weeks to recover.

I thank Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala that I did not hit my head when I fell.

The disability services at my college are helping me with certain accommodations for the remainder of the semester, insha’Allah.

I miss writing with pen and paper, subhanAllah.

Alhamdulilah for everything & everyone helping me ❤️❤️❤️

Update as of 10-24-2025:

Surgery on my dominant wrist went well, and I’m now attending physical therapy twice a week. Alhamdulilah ❤️‍🩹

I broke my arm!

I won’t be able to attend classes this week, but my professors and classmates have told me that they will keep me updated on labs, lecture notes, and exam dates, inshallah! I’ve also contacted my school’s disability accommodations center and am awaiting a response, inshallah!

I won’t let this hinder my success in school, inshallah!

And forever and always: ALHAMDULILAH!!! 🤲

What I Did Today:

• Learned the steps to the Gram stain & identified Gram negative bacteria & Gram positive bacteria under the microscope.

• Took a quiz over the anatomy of the human heart.

• Learned about the physiology of the human heart & wrote down rough notes.

• Dissected a sheep heart & identified its anatomical structures.

My To Do List:

• Update my microbiology lab book from today’s staining lab.

• Prepare lab book for Thursday’s transformation lab.

• Watch lecture over microbial growth & take notes.

• Refine my notes over the physiology of the human heart.
